Hi everyone! I am new to Oxycise and have been reading with interest ALL the postings to these message boards. I have been doing this a week now and I can see that I have found the answer to all of my problems, right here!

Just as a short background....I have always had a weight problem, even as a child, but managed to keep it in check. About 4 yrs ago I injured my back and practically stopped all physical activity...my hubby even had to clean the house for me! I started to gain weight again (had just gone thru menopause) and couldn't get it off. And I just didn't have the inner strength to try yet another "diet". So my weight gradually escalated to 165 lbs...quite alot on my 5'1" frame...I was also a smoker, and I was starting to have difficulty breathing. Two years ago in January I had Pneumonia..had lungs x-rayed, etc., they put me on Oxygen and when I was better and my oxygen level was up again, they took me off of it. I tried yet another "diet" and managed to lose 35 pounds....the minute I stopped I gained it all back! plus more! I quit, I gave up. When I had my physical (I had missed a year because of lack of insurance) this past April, my oxygen level was sooooooo low my doctor sent me to a specialist right away. I was diagnosed with emphysema. All of us smokers know that is a risk, but what we never really understand, is that by time you are diagnosed with it, your lungs lose half of their capacity! How scary that was. I cried because I just didn't think I could quit smoking after 43 years! (I am now 57). I prayed and the answer was presented to me and I did put down the cigarettes and have not had one nor the urge to have one since that day. What a blessing!

Of course the minute I quit, the weight continued to pile on, now worse than ever! Of course I was so stressed and worried etc that I did eat, eat, eat! My body started retaining fluids, my feet and ankles were soooo swollen and all the doctors wanted to do was to prescribe diuretics....I don't really like to take medications.

Anyway, after this looooooong post, I was basicaly forced into researching what I could do to help myself and through a number of different avenues and many $ spent, I managed somehow to find Oxycise! I can tell after one week that this is what it will take to help me heal.

I congratulate everyone before me who has had such a great success....why doesn't everyone know about this? Just the few people I comment to about how oxygen is helping me look at me like I'm nuts....how sad. So I guess seeing will be believing.

Saturday will be my official weigh/measure day, but I "peeked" this morning and had already lost an inch off my waist, and lost 3 pounds so I'm looking forward to the official results!

I am doing a slightly modified low-carb diet, with less fat and red meat than called for, and had already lost 15 pounds, but I can see this is going to be phenomenal.

Oxycise along with my newly discovered liquid vitamins and minerals have felt me feel so much better. It's been a blessing on my back, as well. I am praying that this may heal my lungs somewhat as well, but I know that my breathing has greatly improved already.

I hope to be sharing my days with all of you quite frequently and wish all of you a blessed day....I have ready EVERY success story and all of the posts in the Message Room and they have all inspired me to reach out and embrace this program...it is probably my last chance. My top weight by the way, was 192....and I basically started Oxycise at 176.5.

Thanks and a blessed day to you all

Welcome to our board, Judi! We hope you will feel "at home" here with us. Congratulations on overcoming smoking, and on losing several pounds already! You're off to a great start!!!

Feel free to post on the daily thread - D2L - which means determined to lose.

I love what Oxycise has done for me! We've probably all run into folks who think this is crazy, but for many of us it's been our stairway to better health.

Wishing you the best.
