Hi,
I fell off the Oxycise program a while do to the fact I couldnt breath through my nose and got annoyed trying. I am back at it. I did remain exercising when I stopped Oxycise, but never enjoyed it like I do w/ Oxycise. Does anyone have any advice or opinions to help me start getting the weight off? How many times do you Oxycise?

Welcome back Tama,
I think it is important to start at a slow steady pace. You know what your limits are. Is it every other day, once a day, weekends off, twice a day? Just make it something that you know you can and will want to stick with. Increase it as you get better at it. It didn't take you a month, two or three to get out of shape. It will take you time to get back into shape again. I think the most important thing is to MEASURE. Scale schmale - don't go there if you don't want to. But definitely measure. With every centimeter lost, it makes you feel like it is a mile. I've lost 8 inches and 2 lbs. But I look and feel 8 lbs. different. Just stick to it. Wink

So nice to see you again, Tama! I don't know how to answer your question about getting the weight off. Just don't give up. Maybe try 1 small change at a time- like recording what you eat, good, bad, all of it. That's great that you have continued exercising. We have missed you!

I oxycise 2 times a day, in 1 double session. When I feel like it- I do a triple. When life is too crazy- I try to get at least one 15 min. session in. Weekends are the hardest for me- so I end up doing it 5 days a week.

Hi Tama...glad to have you back! Good luck getting back into Oxycise! Just do the best you can...maybe start with a goal of 3-4 times a week and build up from there!

Hi guys,
Thanks for your wonderful advice and encouragement. I will try putting it to use. Caroline and Jdaines it sounds like you are have a lot of success. Carolines determination w/ this program helped encourage me to get back to it. Plus I missed you guys also! I am taking Friday as my off workout day! If I get it in on Friday, Saturday will be my off day. I am aiming at 6 days a week. I am starting w/ 1 time a day! I hope that works. How many times do all of you do it? Thanks!

Glad to see you back again.
I've usually only done O once a day, 5 or 6 days a week, but sometimes I do it twice, or just do a few extra reps.

Somehow I missed this thread! I'm glad to see you back, too. Are you having any better luck breathing in deeply through your nose? I hope it works out for you! I Oxycise once a day, 6 days a week. I've found that my nose isn't usually very clear when I first get up, so I use saline spray then wait an hour or so before I Oxycise. (considering I get up at 5:30 on weekdays, this still puts me Oing early!)
