Hi I have had the book and video for close to 10 years, but am now going to get serious about trying Oxycise.
I am glad that it is still "around" and not one of those fads that was disproven. This chatboard is really great in connecting with others. Today is my first day of doing the routine. I can feel my lung capacity already fuller! I am very geared up to see what I will feel like in a week, month, several months! Hopefully, what I will look like will be changed too, as I hope to get rid of about 30 pounds by the holidays that I slowly put on when I returned to work after my kids were somewhat grown. Wish me luck!!! |

Hello!!! Welcome to the board!!! I wish you luck, but I also know how well Oxycise works, so I know that if you give it your best effort, and watch what you eat, you'll do well. I won't promise that it will be that quickly though, because effective weight loss usually isn't fast. However, you will notice many changes by the holidays, no doubt.
Feel free to join us on the daily thread D2L. |

Hi, RWCMom--
Welcome! Oxy is definitely here to stay. Be as consistent as you can, and post with us on the "D2L" (Determined to Lose/Daily Accountability) board, and you'll do very well. Look at Kelly's pictures under "Smiles of Success." --Phyllis |

Hi! How's it going so far? Could you give us a name or nickname? We're a personal bunch, and we'd like to make you feel at home in our spot on the web!
At the top of the page, there's a link to the Oxycise home page. Once you're there, scroll down and find "Smiles of Success" on the left side of the page. Kelly's is on page 17. |

OK, I looked at Kelly's page - WOW!!! That is amazing! GREAT job, Kelly!!
My real name is Laura. I do have a question for anyone out there - since I have just started and am trying to get the hang of it all, is one rep one breath? Or a set of four? And I need to do 30 reps a day, right? Thanks - |

Hi, Laura--
I'm not sure if a rep is one breath or four breaths at one position. However, you'll end up doing a total of 120 breaths--4 breaths for each of 30 positions. --Phyllis |

Yes, Laura, one rep is four breaths in one position, and you must complete 30 reps per day. Some people do much more than that, but I've always found that 30 was enough for me, as long as I do it at least 5 days per week and watch what I eat.
Good luck! |
