...and I am just SOOOO impatient about it, too!
I ordered online yesterday, but was a little concerned b/c I got an order number but was expecting to maybe get an email confirmation, no such luck! So approx how long does it take to get here (I live in Texas)? Basically, my history in brief: 35, married almost 7 years, no children yet (we have the added stress of infertility). I have been on too many diets to count, and each one takes longer to lose the pounds and inches- but once I stop dieting, those pounds come right back on even quicker than the last time. So, I am 4'11 currently 145 pounds, and have not been at my goal since I was in college. Right now, I have been doing a little Yoga, a little Callanetics, and a little T-tapp. However, in about 2 months, my hubby and I will be starting a new round of in vitro fertilization (the shots, the appts, the madness begins...), and I know from past IVF rounds that during the egg growing phase, I get very bloated and can only handle the lightest exercise, then after the retrieval, transfer, and in the wait period before the pg test, we are told no strenuous exercise, no lifting anything heavier than 8 pounds, etc. Then if the test is a +, 3 more weeks of restriction until the sono- then maybe you can pick up activity again. So in preparation for the IVF round, I will be needing to taper off my exercise to Oxycise, some yoga, and walking. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you! Beth |

Hi Beth! Welcome to the message board! It sounds like Oxycise is going to be just the thing for you. It really helps with stress, too!! I hope your upcoming invitro turns out well. You'll have to keep us all posted!

Well, maybe I will get my Oxycise stuff today then!!! I hope so! I have been reading some of the posts on the board, and was curious about the comments regarding eating. I have given up dieting/starving/depriving myself, as it seems that for every diet the weight comes off slower, and then when I quit a diet the weight comes back even quicker each time... diets really do not work!!! So, for the past few months, I have been eating what I want when I feel hungry, and stopping when I am full/satisfied, not full/bloated. I am certainly eating more fruit and veggies than before, but I also try to have a little dairy, lean meats (fish, chicken, turkey), and more whole grain type of carbs. Do I never eat junk food, sugars, fast food, etc? No- every once in a while I get a craving, and instead of ignoring it and later binging, I have what I want, and I find I actually want less of it. However, I have seen where folks doing Oxycise are also doing stuff like cutting out all meats, dairy, sugar, and fat. Will I need to cut those things out of my eating, or am I OK to continue the way I have been? Thanks! |

We have a variety of eating habits represented here, I think. No, I don't think you will have to change your style of eating to lose weight with Oxycise. It sounds like you eat the same kinds of things that I eat, and I've been losing around 2 pounds a week since I started 9 1/2 weeks ago. I try to limit calorie consumption to around 1300 per day. Anyway, I hope things go well for you!!! |

I have not been depriving myself & have been losing 1-2 lbs a week average just with O! and not overeating. I drink lots of water & also eat more fresh fruits & vegetables & cut down jusy a little on carbs (not much tho). You will realyy enjoy O! It is not difficult & certainly helps with stress. Just ask, I have had a very stressfull time this last month. Shelby |

I'm fairly new here but WELCOME! I don't follow any particular diet other than to watch the amount of fat & carbs. I try to drink water & eat fresh fruit & veg. But I don't deprive myself either. The weight is going down!
