Hi, I'm Nora. About a month ago I purchased the Oxycise tapes and read the book. The tapes stayed on the shelf. I put the CD in the car for my commute, but often forget to turn it on.

I have probably close to 80 pounds of fat to loose and my health can go nowhere but up. I want to commit to this program because it really does look and sound as though people have wonderful success with it. On the flip side, I have been burned by so many programs in the past.

I have fibromyalgia and am wondering if anyone else on this board has this disorder and has had success with Oxycise. I promised myself I would start doing the tapes Saturday and have started practicing the breathing techniques this week. I find I'm tired just from the breathing and am not sure if that's from the fibro or from incorrect breathing.

Thanks!

Nora

Dear Nora,
I have never stuck to any program as long and as consistant as I have Oxycise. (post children anyway! Big Grin) I am one that does not like to go to a gym, sweat too much, or mess with different types of equipment. This tape is one that you need to go into feeling like you are doing something for NORA. Not just NORA'S BODY. I believe whole-heartedly that it works from the inside out, and the outside in. It is a feelgood lifestyle change, that you don't want to miss out on once you get it down. Smile I love it and I swear by it. I hear my husband telling other people about it! He can't believe the tone and energy I have every day. I am proud of finally taking the time to do something for me, and my whole family benefits from the results. Don't do too much too soon. Get really good at L1, and I believe the stretch's are NECESSARY. It doesn't hurt to listen to the intro tape again if you have it. You can certainly catch new things once you've done the workout for awhile. Just stick with us. We have wonderful, encouraging people on the O!chat room to help you along! You can do it! Smile

Welcome to the Oxycise board! This really is a great program that I feel offers far more benefits than just weight-loss.

If you e-mail julie@oxycise.com she might be able to direct you to some "success stories" from others who suffer from fibromyalgia.

Hope to see you in the D2L thread! You'll find lots of support and encouragement there.

Kelly

Welcome!
I suggest watching & rewatching the intro cassette & learn the breathing really well first. The breathing will be tiring at first. At least I thought so because you are breathing with so much more power than usual especially if you are a shallow breather, which I was & didn't know it.

Best wishes!
Shelby
