Hi! I've been doing O! for 13 days now. This is my second time around. I used it a couple of years ago for a few months.
The problem is that I don't have space to do it in the room with the vcr, especially since my husband is always watching TV in there. So, what I'm doing now is using the commuter cd and adding in some exercises from L1 and L2. It's much more convenient so I think I have a better chance of keeping it up. It also helps that now I can do it in front of a mirror and make sure I'm breathing right. I think I'm getting better at the breathing but I'm sure I have a ways to go. I also do additional breaths during the day. I truly believe I am getting firmer but I don't seem to be losing inches. In fact, I don't think I'm very good at measuring! Seems like an inexact science to me until something big happens. Maybe I'm not measuring in the right spots? questions: Has anyone else 'adapted' the commuter version and had it work? Is it possible to tighten up and not lose noticeable inches? I would like to lose 5-10 lbs, the main issue is a thickening middle from peri-menopause, and flab. Perhaps if I'd weighed more to start with I'd be seeing more results? I'm a little discouraged yet I know there's been a change. Any advice? |

Yes, I have tightened without alot of inch loss. But you will see inch loss if you keep it up. You have to be careful to measure at the same place all the time which isn't easy.

Hi Aero! Welcome to the board!
I have mixed and matched different positions with the commuter tape for a long time, with great results. I don't have any way to watch videos, so I just have the book and commuter tape. I use positions that I've found in magazines as well as positions from the t-tapp website. As long as you do the Oxybreath with the positions you should have good results. I agree with Shelby, and really believe that you will see benefits from continuing to Oxycise. Measuring exactly right is difficult for me too! Feel free to join us on the D2L thread for lots of encouragement and support. Good luck! |
