I just started using O! Hoping to stick with this program. Previously I lifted weights and didn't really see a weightloss. Can doing this only 15 minutes a day really work? I'm going to give it a fair shot by doing it every day for the next 3 months. I only have 10-12 lbs. I want to lose, but haven't been able to over the past 5 years. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Hi Rennie Lynn....welcome to Oxycise! I think you'll be surprised at the benefits you gain from Oxycise. I still find it amazing at how much it tones my body when I do it consistently.
Come join us in the D2L O!Pals thread each day. It's a great place for friendship and encouragement! Kelly |

I think that 3 months is a very fair shot. It has worked for so many of us, me included. I have lost about 8 lbs so far (since Aug) and have about 8 to go. I feel sure that I have lost more than that in fat, because my muscles are toning up so well, and they weigh more than fat. Some people lose more quickly than others. I have lost slowly with a few plateaus, but slow is good! Remember what Jill says-"slow and steady wins the race." Fast is good too, LOL. Good luck!

It's great to have you "on board!"
I work as an assistant to Jill, and wanted to "warn" you not to be deceived if you don't see sudden changes on the scale. (Some people see changes in weight right away... but others may not.) Results will vary from person to person and depend on many different factors... your current body composition (muscle vs. fat), how much excess fat you carry, your metabolic rate, eating habits, etc., etc. When you were lifting weights it's very likely that you were burning off excess fat and probably gaining some extra muscle mass at the same time.... BOTH are very good results, even if you didn't see a change on the scale. Most of us rely too much on our scales alone, to tell us whether we are suceeding at weight loss. I just recently had a fitness trainer tell me that she tells her clients NOT to rely too heavily (no pun intended!) on their scales, but to be more concerned about inch loss and postive changes in body fat percentage. If your body fat percentage is in the "Excellent" range for your age, it really doesn't matter what the scale says. And not all weight loss is good. (Starving yourself and losing muscle weight is NOT good!) We've had many customers experience really great benefits -- inch loss, looser clothing, firmer muscles, improved body shape -- without seeing a lot of change on the scale. So be sure to watch for these extra benefits. Jill strongly suggests that new customers get a body fat percentage "baseline" test and then re-test after doing Oxycise! for a month or two. Customers who do this usually see positive changes, whether they lose weight or not. Let me know if you have questions! Happy Breathing! Julie Oxycise! Staff julie@oxycise.com |
