Hello There,
I am a New Oxyciser...!!! I received my Level I video, book and commute CD on the 4th of September and started Oxycising. So far I am enjoying it. I really feel the muscle BURN. I am using muscles that I can tell I have not used in a long while. That is great....!!! I am 39, 5'6 1/2" tall and weigh 175 pounds....starting weight. I am a BIG size 12. I really want to get down to at least 150 (size 10). My routine is: I am also walking 2 miles in the evenings along with 15 min Level I video each morning....I even go to the gym at least once or twice a week....In fact, I am trying to use my breathing with the weight machines...anybody do that ...or with walking...??? Does it help...??? I am not really using the commute CD...found it kinda hard to use around town...I can see it would be good for interstate drivers... Hey...to be honest, I am wanting this weight off my the holidays....Just wanting some advice here...or pointers from those of you who have been Oxycising for a while. Maybe there is someone out there who started at about my size who could offer some encouragement...and info on diet etc....??? Should I order another video...which ones are good for tummy and HIPS...and upper thighes...Need to really lose there...BIG time. Look forward to any advice you all can provide to this Newbie...!!! Welcome OxyciseGal! Glad to have you here with us! This board is a great place for support! Sounds like you've got a great routine down..and yes some of the people have reported that they've had great success breathing while using weights! I think if you look around at previous posts, you'll find the thread about using weights.

Welcome to Oxycise and the message board! It sounds like you already have a good routine set up. As far as eating....just stick to sensible eating and what you think works for you. There's not really a set way to eat with Oxycise.
If you want another tape, the Buns & Thighs tape will really get those muscles burning! It's good to have you with us....I look forward to seeing you around the board! Kelly |

Glad you found your way here. I don't really diet. I just watch what I eat. Not to much sugar & bread, but lots of friut & veggies. Come see us at the D2L O! Pals, where we all meet daily. The more the merrier! Ellen |
