hey! My name is Kelly and I just got wind of Oxycise from a friend on another board. I thought it sounded great, so I ordered it and should be starting soon. I am current;y on Atkins and need a little something else. If any of you have any pointers, that would be great!

Welcome Kelly! This board is a great place for support...everyone here is very nice and helpful! I've been doing Oxycise for almost 3 weeks and have lost 1 pound and 1 1/2 inches already! My only pointer at this point would be to really watch the instruction video well...maybe more than once and get the basic breath down before you worry about the workouts. I'm sure you'll just love it!

I agree with Laura. Take your time and get the basic breath down first. When I first began I didn't try to use the video. I just did the first few positions over and over at my own pace to get in the 30 positions for the day. It wasn't long before I could do them all along with the video. Glad to have you with us. You will find the program easy and pleasant, I believe. But you will need this board, as I have, for the psychological support. I think there are many ups and downs that go along with the weight-loss journey. Hope I can be of help to you!

Glad to have you with us. I agree with the others. It is important to learn the basic breath before worrying about the positions. At first I didn't think I could learn it, but the more I practiced the easier it got. Now it is second nature.
