Hello,

I have been doing Oxycise for years off and on and just started back 3 weeks ago. I have lost 11 lbs. and 1 1/2" from my waist. I have not participated in the chat and now I feel I need the support and want to hear other success stories and share mine. Oxycise has really been the healthiest and easiest program I have ever been in. Trying to get my husband in to Oxycise and he tried it one day with me and he had to stop because he got dizzy and sick at his stomach. Has anyone else experienced this starting oxycise?

Susie
starting weight: 170 lbs
weight now: 158 lbs.
goal weight: 135 lbs.

Welcome to the boards, Susie. It's nice to meet someone who's been doing O for so long. I just began back in February so I'm pretty new but have been having good results.

I did have some trouble with dizziness with O (still do sometimes) but I'm prone to dizziness and vertigo (which also leads to a sick stomach) so I don't worry too much about it. I just try to regulate my breathing, making sure I'm breathing in and out with equal gusto and that usually helps. I'm also very careful about which positions I do. I use Easy Does It mostly which is fine, but when I do the positions from the book, there are some that I modify because I know they'll give me trouble.

Looking forward to seeing you around. Most people congregate over in the Daily thread so you might want to go check in over there. Smile

Welcome Susie!

WOW!! You've had really good results already! I'm glad you found us, and hope you will join us on the daily thread!

I also have experienced dizziness at times, but I just take a little break and then start up again. I hope your husband keeps trying!

You can find my story...(over and over!) under the "Share Your Progress and Success" section.
