Hi Sheryl! Welcome to Oxycise!

The best advice I can give is to be consistent with your Oxycise! and try to eat sensibly. Most folks don't get overnight results, so be patient!

Look forward to seeing you around the board. Come post in the D2L (determined to lose) thread each day for extra encouragement!

Thank you so much for the note.. have you found a good diet that you like to follow? I don't eat a lot of red meat, so it is hard to find a diet to stick to? Best of luck. One day at a time is right. sheryl

Hi! I am a retired teacher living in a small retirement community with my husband of 49 years. I've been lurking around the chat rooms for a few weeks now. First waiting for my DVD's and trying to figure out the breathing technigue on my own...I got it fairly close I'm happy to say. I am a senior so I ordered the "Easy Does It" set. In my almost 67 years, I have tried every diet and exercise program that's come down the pike. All worked temporarily but the pounds always come back with a vengence. I have now discovered that if I just strive to eat healthy....high fiber, good fats, high protein, good carbs, plenty of fluids, lots of fruits and veggies, lower fat if possible...combined with a walking program
and 35 pounds just disappeared. Then I had knee surgery, my second, and cannot continue walking. Now the weight is creeping back again.

I have done the "O" routines once each day for a total of 6 days and have lost a total of 20 inches in the 12 areas I decided to measure. I have decided not to weigh each day because I begin to obsess about my weight.

I do have one question...How much water is recommended with the program.

Have a nice day...........Nanna

Welcome, Nanna! I'm glad you've gotten off to such a good start with your Oxycise!.

I'm not sure O! actually has any specific water recommendations. However, when I first started working on losing I tried to drink at least half my bodyweight in ounces of water. I still like to drink a lot (96 ounces a day is usually my goal) because I feel like it keeps my skin hydrated better and it helps to flush out my body. I can tell when I don't get enough!

Come join us in the D2L thread!

Welcome Nanna and Sheryl, so glad to have you both on board.

Nanna I usually drink 48 oz of water, slowly working my way up to more. I agree with Kelly, it has really made my skin look much better and younger. Wink Congratulations on all of your lost inches!! Way to go.

Sheryl I have about 80 more pounds to go. I just want to encourage you, because I have lost so much. You can do it, too. For me its been slow and sometimes I have done O 2 times a day. This is the only exercise that has worked consistently for me. I don't know exactly how much I've lost, because at first I didn't even get on a scale Red Face until after I had been O'ing for 4 months. Lost 10 pounds since then. Big Grin

Love to have you on the D2L board. It's located under the blue heading that says support groups.

Have a blessed day.
Sharon
