I have the Oxycise tapes sitting in my TV cabinet and have only watched them once, I'm not even sure that I watched them all the way through. Every day I tell myself that I will get them out and get started, and every day, I seem to let other things come before the Oxycise. I need someone to get me all enthuised about how good it's going to make me look and how much weight and inches I will lose. I guess I need a kick in the butt to get me off and running, or should I say off and breathing. I have well over 100 pounds to lose, and I guess I am feeling like it just won't happen or that it will take forever. I really hate this fat body of mine, and know what it CAN look like since I have been thin before, but it seems like I have a mountain to climb. SOMEBODY INSPIRE ME, PLEASE!

Hi Jasmine!
I'm not sure how good I am in the inspiration department, but I'll give it a shot because I really do think Oxycise is a wonderful thing and I'm always happy to see other people discover that for themselves. I had over a 100 pounds to lose, too, when I started Oing back in February. So far, I've lost over 30 pounds, averaging about 5 pounds a month. That may not sound quick, but I figure I've been overweight all my life and if it takes me a couple years to lose all the weight, that's okay with me, at least I'm losing rather than going up and up and up. And, this is the longest I've kept off weight that I've lost. Before, I've always lost and then gained it all back (plus more). So, I figure it's worth it to go a little slow and have it be permanent. Look at it this way ... the time investment is minimal but the returns on your investment are phenomenal. I feel so much better when I Oxycise. I sleep better, I have more energy, and all those little aches and pains that creep up on me the older I get seem to disappear. Give it a go, Jasmine! The way I stay on track is I get up and start my day off with O! before I get ready for work. I have a clear head and a better attitude all day long. If I sleep in and don't have enough time, I do the commuter on the way to work. I have to do one or the other everyday. If I miss a few days because of company or whatever, I try to get back on track as soon as possible. I just keep in mind that I feel better, and my clothes fit better. Come over to the D2L thread and talk to us daily. We'll be there everyday to motivate you. Good luck and keep on breathing |
