Hi all!
I am new and strongly considering ordering. I've looked through past posts and have seen bits and pieces of things I wonder about in more detail, so I'm trying to get my concerns organized into one little (?) letter. I'm mostly wondering what changes some of you have seen in some of these areas. Shape (have those who have lost weight noticed a pattern of where the weight is lost from?) Skin (tone, clarity, and firmness-some areas could use a little firming, and I thought I was supposed to be through with acne by now!) Depression Anxiety Muscle/joint stiffness Digestive health Energy level PMS symptoms I guess I want to know, even if I never lose a pound or inch, is it still worth it, and why? (Oh, yeah, and is the feeling/looking taller thing common? I'm nearly 6' and I don't really need it, but my posture could use some help.) |

I can't answer all your questions but I bet by the end of the day you might have a few answered. I noticed a difference in my skin tone after doing O! for a few days. Plus I sleep like a baby and I feel refreshed. I noticed a difference in cellulite too. It started to disappear in a matter of weeks. I still have some but not as much. Muscle/joint: I suffered from bursitis, but with oxycise! I was able to go off the inflammatory meds. As long as I O!, I don't hurt. Some of us had a discussion about digestion and O! some time ago. A lot of us like to O! after a big meal like Thanksgiving because it helps us digest our food faster and takes away that "stuffed" feeling. I like doing O! after dinner. Your library might have tapes you can check out. There have been a few folks here who tried that before their tapes came. You can't go wrong with this program. Come see us on the D2L thread. Hi Tesca!
I'm not sure O!ing actually helps you lose from any one spot faster than another. I think that is up to your body. However, I think it can help you tone certain areas. The regular "level" tapes work the entire body whereas the Ab&Upper Body tape or the buns & thighs tapes concentrate on those areas. I do think it helps considerably with muscle/joint stiffness. It definitely has kept me more limber! I'm one of those that loves to do extra Oxybreaths on the occasions that I overeat. It really does help with that "bloated" feeling. I'm not sure about PMS, but it helps my cramps feel better. Some folks don't feel like they can O! at all during their TOM, but it always eases my discomfort. In my opinion? Yes! Oxycise! is worth doing even if you never lose a pound or inch. I just like the way it makes me feel!! Hope you decide to join us. It's a very supportive atmosphere on here! |

Hi!
Here's my 2 cents: I lost all over, and didn't especially notice any pattern. I don't have as much acne, really very little since starting O over 3 years ago. Depression- this is the one my dh notices most. As long as I'm consistent with O, my moods are better. Anxiety...guess I'm pretty laid back most of the time. Muscle & joints- much better with O! Digestive health and energy level have both been compromised by a high yeast level in my system. I'm currently working on lowering that through my diet, so I can feel better all over. Posture is greatly helped when I am consistent. It makes a lot of difference in how I carry myself, and how my back feels, etc. I haven't had any comments on looking taller. I am 5' 10". Yes, I would definitely say it's worth it!!! GO FOR IT!!! |

Hi Tesca,
I've been doing O since the middle of October. I have definitely been healthier since starting. I tend to have Bronchtis, Asthma every fall and Spring. I first found out about Oxycise by getting a video from the library. I was trying out several different exercise videos, because I knew I had to find something I could stick with. If you can, I would definitely try that. I have also seen a giant difference in flexibility, muscle soreness and even balance. For me and by DH this is something we will definitely keep on doing. I've been doing it 2 times a day. When I get tired, I do some extra breaths and it helps. The best way to describe how my weight has come off, is by saying it comes off from the extremities first, and works towards the middle. Strange, I know, but that's how my weight has always come off. My stomach has made a big improvement Do come see us on the D2L thread. We would love to have you. There are places on this board, that really explain how to do the breathing and you might start there. Have a blessed day. Sharon |

Well you have had some good replies and I hope mine fits in well.
I am chronically ill and this helps enormously. My depression is much better when I Oxycise! and my Chron's disease is much better as well. I have horrible Restless Leg and Arm Syndrome that didn't respond well to meds at all and it always came back. Well the Oxycise! has CURED it...and I mean CURED it. Gone. Vamoose!! My flexabilty has greatly improved and my moods too as long as I do consistantly do Oxycise!. So I don't know what else to say except see if the library has something for you and DO IT. It doesn't work if you don't do it! LOL This is not a scam. I started doing this about 10 yrs ago, even when in hospital beds I am doing my O! breathing! (I have spent weeks on end in hospital and always slept like a dream when doing my O!). Please let us know how you are doing and what you decided to do. The money you spend is an investment in your life - consider it well spent! Ciao ciao, Nancy |

Well, I was ready to order today, but I think for now I will wait till my husband's next paycheck. If it's half as good as everyone says, I really could use it now. My nose is going crazy and I feel like going back to bed, after being up about four hours. But anyway, there are more urgent purchases to be made immediately.
As a side note, I'm probably having a couple of tooth extractions within the next couple of months. If I have started by then, how long do you think I should wait before resuming? |

Tesca,
If you'd like to get started with the breathing now, just go to this page, and read how. Also read Julie's breathing tips under "Newsletters and announcements" at the top of the board. http://www.oxycise.com/Media/firstmag.htm This will get you started, so you can see if Oxycise might be what you are looking for. As far as how long to take off after your dental work, I guess only the dentist would know. Oxycise isn't strenuous, like jumping and jarring exercises are though, so I wouldn't think it would be very long. |
