Hi all,
I'm Erin, new here and to O! for the most part. I first learned about it a few months ago and have done the 15min. workout sporadically, but am now ready to focus on doing it consistently, daily. I am almost 31, live in WA state with my hubby and 2 boys. I began to put on weight during my engagement (I'll be married 8 yrs this Aug.). I used to be a walker, and moved in with my hubby whose neighborhood is not set up for walking, and so my metabolism dropped and my body changed drastically and 20 lbs came out of nowhere on me. I had always been little and slim before, woghing 100 lbs soppig wet, so this was a really shocking surprise to me, that I could put on weight, and have to start watching what I eat. Well, I had 2 babies over the years, which changed my body yet again, and here I am, 30 lbs overweight, and never really learned how to deal with it. I was doing aerobics and yoga before I got pregnant, but never got back to any of it when I started having babies to take care of. I have finally gotten back to something, we joined the Y and I take a great Tai Chi class twice weekly when I can get there. The neighborhood has developed here and I can know walk more again, which I love. And now I have found Oxycise, which makes so much sense to me, and feels so good to do, and fits into my lifestyle with its 15min timeframe. D2L stands for "determined to lose". It's the name of the thread that is started each day in the "support and accountability" section of the message board. Lots of us post our workouts there, share encouragement and just chat in general.
You'll find lots of friendship and support on here. |

Hi Erin, you remind me of myself. I USED to be 105#. 20 + pounds and 2 kids latter I also wonder, what happened? I have gotton good results, I know you will too. Sue
