Hi. I've been O!ing since May & saw immediate results. I have a phobia of scales. They discourage me-so I'll stick to the tape measure. I'd like to lose 5" by next month. Can I do it?

Hi Shelby,

It's great to have you here. Actually, when I started Oxycise, it's like I jump started something in my body. I lost 14 inches all over my body within the first couple of weeks. Of course it has slowed a bit since then but, I believe it's totally possible to lose the inches. I did dedicate myself to doing the commuter routine to and from work every day. I will also do a routine at lunch. A lot of people jump out of bed and get going first thing. For some reason, that doesn't work for me. I tend to get a bit sick to my stomach first thing so, I wait about an hour.

Another thing that has helped me is checking in with everyone on a regular basis. If you go to the accountability thread, you will see the Determined To Lose O!Pals there. They are a great bunch of people that help when you just don't feel that up to your routine or other things that you need to do that day.

Good luck and I will be looking for you on the boards.

Merritt smile

You can certainly do it!! Like Merritt, when I first started O!, it was like something clicked, and I saw immediate losses! After the only first 6 weeks, I lost 4" from my waist, 2" off each upper arm, 5" from my hips, 3" from one thigh and 3 1/2 from the other, and 10 lbs! All that was with NO CHANGE in how much or what I ate. (And I ate like a piggie eek ) Still do, some days. razz

This is a truly amazing program that really works!
You can do it, and like Merritt says, you're more than welcome to join up up on the D2L O!Pals thread for a daily dose of support and encouragement as well as a way to stay accountable. big grin

Take care everyone, and KEEP BREATHIN'!

My name is Karen and I've been O!ing since summer. I've lost about 4" all over. Not as much as I'd like, but then again, I haven't really changed my eating habits much.

Have fun with O! and keep checking in with us. We'll give you lots and lots of support.

XOXOXOXOXO...Karen

I DID buy a scale. It wasn't so scary stepping up on to it as I thought. I'd like to start seeing results by the 16 of Oct. My husband & I are going tot Scotland-ALONE (We have 6 kids)

Wow! Oct 16 is my birthday...can I come to Scotland with you? :P

Just kidding. I hope you and your husband have a wonderful time. I can't wait until my kids are old enough (I have 5, youngest is 10 weeks old) for us to be able to leave them and take a trip alone!

Here's hoping it'll be a slimmer you on that plane!

Take care everyone, and KEEP BREATHIN'!
