Hello everyone!

I'm Jennifer. I have ordered my Oxycise tape, so it should make its way to me via mail in a few days. I am excited to start using it because I have read many inspiring stories here.

I am 5'3, and I currently weigh 160 lbs. Luckily I am still in a size 12- but they are tight. My weight fluctuates- and I was 200 lbs many years ago. The thinnest I have been is 135 about 4 years ago- but I managed that simply by starving myself due to stress. I feel myself creeping back up to the 200 point, and to tell you the truth- it scares the heck out of me! For the last year I have been taking Prozac for 10 days out of the month (PMS relief) and in that time period 15 lbs. has crept up on me. I am not blaming the Prozac- but I think it has contributed.

I have decent stamina- I walk a lot. I was using the treadmill at the gym, and I am having a hard time keeping my heart rate up because I'm not totally inactive- but I HATE hate despise "standard" excercise!!! But, I am an apple shape so I carry all my weight in my middle- from my boobs down to the bottom of my belly, and I know this is bad for heart disease. I hate how I feel and look right now- I can not stand to be naked in front of my husband even! I want to loose weight and inches- I would like to be a size 8-10. I am hoping Oxycise will help me achieve this goal.

Oh- my knees have been hurting lately- and I twisted my knee before Christmas. The doctor took an X-Ray and he said my knees are in good condition- no arthritis, nothing- just a smiple twist. But- my knees hurt (even the one I did not twist.) I am thinking it is because of the extra 20 lbs I am carrying around on my frame... Could this be so? I also ordered a yoga for flexibility and abs tape. I am not flexible. My back hurts due to my crap posture- but with 38DD (sniff- used to be 36D) breasts- my back hurts and it hurts to stand up perfectly straight.

I know, "bitch moan cry." *smile* One last thing- I joined an Irish step dancing class, and the class starts on Tuesday. It is a beginner class for adults (I am 32) and it is something I have dreamt of doing for the longest time. I always blew off the idea because I am totally uncoorinated, but I figure if I CAN do it- it will inspire me to get into better shape.

If anyone has any advice on my poor knees (it only hurts when I try to make a deep bend or squatting motion- not when I walk) please send it my way. Any herbs or vitamins?

Thanks for reading this very long and boring post. I wish everyone here good health and good luck on their weight loss adventures. I am very excited to join what looks ot be a very supportive community.

Jennifer~

Thanks for introducing yourself. It sounds like you've had plenty of experience with ups & downs in weight. You're smart for getting in here and turning things around now, before you're any closer to 200 pounds. I lost 68 pounds in one year, with Oxycise and the Change One plan from Reader's Digest. You can reach your goal, too!

Good luck!!!

Jennifer, thanks for introducing yourself to us. That Irish step dance class sounds like lots of fun. I'm sure you can do it.

I wish I had learned about Oxycise years ago. Just started in October. It's so great that you are taking charge of your weight now and not letting it get way back up. I want to loose about 75 pounds. Eek

Will look forward to seeing you on the D2L thread.

Sharon
