Hello everyone,
I just purchased the Oxycise program. I am so excited and can hardly wait for it to arrive. I had been using Body Flex for some time. But usually get sidelined by my allergies. I feel so optimistic hearing that O! can still be done through the mouth and the suggestions for people with sinus trouble. I have started doing BF again, and much like before, I am discouraged because I am seeing less and less of a result. At first, I was amazed at the results. Now, it seems like it isn't working. I feel like I have had a workout, but there is no reduction. In inches or weight. I am praying that O! is just what I needed. I have a large frame, strong build. I am very athletic and muscular. I need to tighten and loose. I do not expect to be a tiny size 2. But I really need to, at least, get to a 12-14. I am currently a 18-20. (I have never admitted that before...) Basically, I need to fit in my clothes again. My diet is protien heavy, carb light. It seems to work for me. I have been through the commercial diets, and have experienced a massive slowdown of my metabolism. Trust me, 600-700 calories a day for 3 months is not guaranteed to work. In fact, my metabolism has not been the same since. Anyhoo, sorry for the snoozer. I guess once you start purging, it is hard to stop. Now, you all probably know more about me than my family. GOOD LUCK to you with this program., I have one of the OXYCISE tapes I got by accident..(in a give away for garage sale box) but I need part one, level one, on HOW TO DO the breathing exercises.
ANYONE can help with this lemme know, tape2 level one looks good but I'd like to know I am doing the breathing exercises right. |

Eva, you are right where I was for size, when I started O in Jan. 2003, and I am where you want to be, still after 4 years!!! You can do it too!!! I used the ChangeOne Plan from Reader's Digest, which gave me a guideline for portions and food combinations. It was very helpful! I'm glad you know what works for you, and will be anxious to hear how things go when you get going with O! Sunny, there are breathing instructions on this website. Go to the home page, then to the Media Information at the bottom left, then to the Feature articles, and First for Women, and that page will give you breathing directions. Also, Julie has written some really good tips to help us, under "Newsletters & Announcements" on the board. I hope that both of you will feel free to join in on the daily thread called D2L which stands for determined to lose. You'll find lots of encouragement and support there, from some wonderful ladies!!! Good luck!!! |

If you would like to purchase the Introduction to Basic Breath and Techniques, you can email info@oxycise.com and they can let you know how to go about doing so. You can also learn the breathing technique through the Oxycise! Book which you can order online or you may be able to check the book or the video out at your local library. Eva, did your tapes arrive yet? You know, it took me awhile, but I've admitted several things on this forum that I didn't anywhere else! I think it's good for a body!!!
Sunny, how are you doing? Did you get the breathing figured out? It takes everyone a little while. In fact, I lost 30 pounds before I realized that I wasn't doing it right! Just having more oxygen in my system made a lot of difference anyway. Hope you're both off to a great start!!! |

Yes!!! They finally came. I have been doing it for almost a week. I will wait a bit before measuring again.
In fact, I am at work and doing the commuter breathing/workout as I type. I have been practicing the breathing. I hope I am doing it right. I plan to go over the instructions again this weekend to see if I am. I am sooooo excited!!! Thank you everyone for the encouragement! Eva |

Hello all,
Well, here is my update. This is week 2 on O and I have to say that I am inspired! Even though I am not sure I have the breathing down yet, and that fact that I have been a little under the weather and only able to do it 7 times in the last 2 weeks, I have lost a total of 5 inches!!! Not to mention I have not even been able to watch the instructions again. Anyway, I am really pumped!!! I have not changed my diet yet, and it is still a success. I AM IN!!!!!!!!! Eva |
