I did L3 this morning phew! did I sweat,in the ac even. Tommorrow will be 3 weeks for me and I haven't missed one day. I might have to stop measuring myself. I am starting to get obsessed about it and then I get discouraged. I don't have a bathroom scales because of that reason. I always feel like I have been exercising for months when it has only been days and I think I should be smaller. I guess I want it now.

Hi Tambo,

Congratulations on being so diligent to exercise. I only measure once a week, because I get obsessed with it. I didn't have a scale either for the first three months that I did O. Now I have one and I'm looking at the scale every day!! I think I'm going to have to hide it so that I only look once a week. :-)

Remember all of the positive changes you have been making. Something that I do is have a calander and put stars or funny faces on for the days that I do O. Then I can look and see how well I've done. It may seem silly, but its helped me to see all of those stars and funny faces add up.

Have a blessed day.

Sharon:
thanks for the motivation tip and a good way to keep track of how one is doing! I ususally just write my O's for the day on the calendar, but I am gonna be huntin' me some stars and stickers!
Thanks!

Tambo: those inches and pounds will wilt away. I look at my pot belly and wonder if it will ever be flat again. Then I remember: it didn't pop up overnight and it ain't a goin' away overnight. Just gotta keep working....but I love O-ing. I haven't missed a day in two weeks. But there are moments when I think it would be okay to skip it cause....[name any excuse around], but when I start I am glad! I always feel so much better. And my energy level is much better.
Keep at it.......

I have been writing it on my calendar and I measure once a week but I catch myself in the middle of the week more than once measuring again so I have to quit that. I know it took me awhile to get this way and it will take awhile to get the way I need to be. I just want to not be consumed with my weight I want to learn to take care of my body so when hard times or bad days come it will be natural to work out and not overeat. That's a big request but it can happen, right? Thanks for all your encouragement I really need all I can get. Wink

Tammy,

Please go get some fun stickers to put on your calendar! That way, it sparkles or smiles or just looks pretty, and it's so satisfying!
Yes, it can happen, you can develop good habits that will stay with you, but it takes time. You already know that!!! You're doing well, so just keep doing it!!! Big Grin

Hi Tambo: I know what you mean about the measuring & weighing. I only do it once a month. Rarely do I weigh. It's too disappointing. I am on tape 1 right now. I've been using it now going this month makes 3 month. I work out 6 days a week I need one day off. I feel the toness in my body, the weight have stared coming off yet.Hang in there.

Hello Everyone:
Today I got up and worked out before coming to work this a.m. I feel good. I really feel it in my lower back and abs. Wow!!!!!!!!!!! It's all good. Big Grin
I'm hanging in with the struggle. I just feel that changes will continue to happen. I don't care about the lbs. I love the Inches leaving my body. I'm eating healthy now this is the 5th day. I'm pround of myself. I don't even have a desire to eat any junk food as yet. I'm so motivated to accomplish my goal. Believe me, there have been many times when I've felt like what the use when I've walked on my treadmill for 6 months and nothing happen, I'd go sit on the couch and pitty myself for about an hour and get up and go walk again. Once you lose your desire to accomplish a goal what's left? NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So everyone, hang in there with me and lets do this. Great day everyone.
