Hi, actually I'm not quite new - I haven't started yet. I don't really have weight to lose, but I do want to get a lot tighter. I am 57. Does this work to tighten also? Legs and butt and arms??
Thanks, I appreciate your input.

Hi Cheri: This is really good for tightening. We all wish we were in your shoes, but we'll get ther. Big Grin

The Abs one is really great but Level 1 is wonderful to. That was the frist thing that started happening to me was getting tighter. My butt got higher and tighter, my legs are tighter, my chest is tighter, you get the point. Just use it daily. You can start out slow and increase until you fully get it. You'll tell you've worked your body.

Best of luck!

Hi Cheri,

You haven't started yet. Ok then, I want to give you a great BIG WELCOME!
I have to tell you that doing "O" daily does in fact tone you up. My arms are on the thin side (I have an apple figure). Anyway, what I'm getting at is you can see definition in my arms. I really believe for you especially since you don't have any weight to lose your going to get toned really fast. I'm excited for you Cheri. Let us know how your doing with it ok? Looking forward to hearing from you! Big Grin

Until next time...
Susie

Thank you so much - I'm not sure what to order. If I get the complete set does it also tell you the beginning part - how to breathe, etc.? Thanks for your help - I really appreciate it. Smile

Hi Cheri! Welcome from me, too! I only use Jill's book and commuter tape, so I can't tell you much about the other products, but I know that both the book and the Level 1 videos will tell you how to do the breathing. In fact, you can find out how to breathe right here on the website. Go to the top of the board here, and click on Oxycise! on the top left corner. Then click on the link to the First for Women article, and it will describe the techinique there. Julie also gives great breathing tips on the board here, at the top, under the heading "Newsletters and Announcements".

I know that Oxycise really helps for tightening and toning, but you must be consistent. However, spending only 15 or 20 minutes per day doing something that helps so much really isn't hard! Good luck!!!

Feel free to join us on the D2L thread, (determined to lose), each day for lots of support and encouragement.

Hello Everyone: Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragements. I did my O for the first time today in 3 days. I did Abs and Upper Body. Boy was it a workout. I broke out in a sweat and was wore out when I finished. I realize I'm still weak from being sick. I was proud of myself for making it through and my stomach did not cramp.
The Ab workout is some awsome workout. I can tell it challenges my body. Some of the positions I struggle with. The arms where you lean off the chair. I can't do that, I have to raise up off the chair and do it that way. It puts too much strain on the rotator cup in my L arm. So I'm being careful with that one as well as the one where you lean out from the wall it put too much stress on my bad knee, so i'm careful with that, otherwise, it's a great workout. I won't be working out 2x daily until my body starts adjusting to the abs workout so as not to stress my heart too much.

Thats' all the news so far. I think I'll measure today. Tomorrow is my meat day after 2 weeks. I don't know what it will be.

Have a great day all

Welcome to the message board Cheri!!

Yes....this program will help you tighten up as well as increase your flexibility. I would recommend ordering the basic intro package (the regular series as long as you don't have any physical limitations).

Hope to see you joining us more often!

Hello Cheri,

You will find this is a wonderful workout. I do agree you should start with the level one workout so that you can increase your flexibility and range of motion. Once you've done that then you can use the ab and upper body workout. Plus it's really important for you to learn the basic breath Jill teaches in the intro lesson.

Cathey,

I will continue to pray for you as your body heals and I pray you will regain anything you have lost during your illness! God Bless!!!
