Hello to all of you who always post. I don't very often but sure do enjoy reading your encouraging words.
I have had osteoporosis in my left hip so when I had a regular check up yesterday the doc. insisted I have another bone scan. I still don't have the final result but the technician said just looking at the x-ray she couldn't see anything. I talked to her about Oxycise and asked her about a lot of the positions. She said "this lady that put this together seems like she really knows what she is doing." SHe said the isometric and isotonic excersizes are very good not only for the muscles but for the bones. I have already been convinced about this program but listening to her was so encouraging.
So...if any of you are discouraged, please don't quit. This is not just for weight loss but your health.
By the way, to the gal with the cold...when I have a cold I "O" anyway as well as I can and I find it makes me feel better.
Hi Susanna, good to read your message on here.
Have a great evening everyone and keep breathing...it is worth it. From the "gramma" of the bunch. Ruth Roberts

That's really encouraging to hear what your doctor said about Oxycise! I've just been doing Oxybreaths lately, but I really feel like I need to start doing the tapes again to get in those isometric positions as well as the breaths.

Thanks for sharing that with us!

How exciting! I appreciate you sharing this with us. It's so important! One more reason to get my mom to oxycise. Even though she has always been very careful to exercise, eat right, and take calcium, she now has osteoporosis. Could mean the same for me, and it's nice to know that oxcise can help.

Hi Jennifer: First, It was very interesting to see that you live in Guatemala. I was brought up in Colombia..born in Bolivia and visted again a few years ago. I didn't come to the U.S until i was twenty so my formative years were in a Latin country.
About the osteoporosis...The tech also told me that clacium can help prevent it but does not restore lost bone mass. THere are some meds that do but weight-bearing excersize is very important. So..I am really going to work on the weight bearing positions in Oxycise. She also said that if our muscles are weak so are the bones. I have a lot more muscle tone since I have been Oxycising. In fact I have muscles where I never had any before.
Well, have a great weekend everyone. I pick up so much good info from each one of you.
Ruth
