Well, I'm going to try to keep a daily log of my oxycise routine. I actually started on March 1 and have successfully done it Saturday, Sunday and TODAY. I have all the videos/DVD's but haven't opened some of them. I felt great after doing my O! this morning.
I am also keeping track of how oxycising is affecting my memory issues. Today I feel better and have more energy (thyroid removed 8/07 and on Armour thyroid meds now). Energy has NEVER been an issue with me - I've always been "high energy". BUT now I am having issues. I'm not seeing a lot of change yet in my memory - but I'm not giving up. I O! throughout the day while I'm walking here at my job at Dallas Baptist University - a beautiful campus on a hill in southwest Dallas. On pg. 72 of "Oxycise" by Jill Johnson, it says "Oxygen helps your cells metabolize nutrients for energy, maintenance, repair and healing. The way you breathe has a profound effect on your heart, arteries, and blood flow. Breathing affects the diameter of your blood vessels, your blood pressure, and the work output of the heart. The activity of your brain is directly affected by the way you breathe." Breathing is also your chief body cleanser." I am committed to the following for the month of March(and hopefully beyond): - Quiet time with the Lord - yes - 15 minutes of Oxycising each day - yes - 30 min. of walking 5-7 days a week - not yet (it's only 2:30pm) - No coffee Monday-Friday - I already had coffee this morning before writing this commitment. Tomorrow is a new day. - Including the Lord in my decision making regarding food intake (eat to live NOT live to eat). Food decisions with God - yes at breakfast/lunch - An attitude of Thanksgiving - The Lord is my strength and my salvation Melinda |
