Hi Susanna,
I just read about the August Challenge and although late, I have been onboard all month so far. 6-7 days a week without fail. I am still hoping to see results. Keeping my fingers crossed. May try to add some extra breaths, too. Love this support!!!

Good for you, Vicki!!! Keep up the good work!!! Big Grin

This is a great place to be for daily encouragement! I've been coming here for over 3 years now. While some come in and don't stay long, others join us for the long term. We've got a nice bunch of ladies posting!!! I hope you will soon see the results you're looking for!!!

Hi Susanna,
It does sound like all you ladies are super nice, and supportive! I will definitely be hanging around. I did get measured this morning and I have a total loss of 4.5 inches, but no pounds.(That's 6 weeks), so, I do get discouraged. How have you made out in 3 years? Did you get great results? Thanks for writing...tty soon.

That's great that you've shown some inch loss, Vicki!! Inch-loss and how your clothes fit are actually a better indicator of success than weight-loss.

Vicki,

Congratulations on losing 4.5 inches!! WOW!!! Big Grin

I had great results the first year I did Oxycise. I combined it with the Reader's Digest plan called ChangeOne, and lost 68 pounds and 34 inches. Then I had some health problems that kept me from doing my O consistently, and soon the pounds began to creep back on. I gained back 20 pounds, but as of today, I've lost 12 of them again, since starting a yeast-cleansing eating program in May. So...I'm optimistic that I can reach my goal weight again soon. I love the results I've had with Oxycise, and love the way it makes me feel. I'm just NOT an exercise person, but I can DO THIS!!! I feel that the key is consistency!!!

Hi Susanna,
OMG, that is incredible!!!!What great results. Do you feel that you would not have gotten results without the diet plan? (Makes my 4.5 inch loss nothing.) Do you believe that with the consistency, that one day things will just happen? After my hysterectomy I packed on weight over night! I never had a weight problem in my life. Now with this extra weight I do not feel good about myself at all. I was researching yesterday and from what I understand O'ing can not be bad for you no matter what. I wonder if my insides are changing. I still do not feel a big difference in my clothes, either.

I am glad you are doing so well again. That is super! If you have any sites that I can research please let me know. I just keep looking for that encouragement that this can help me, too. Well, keep up the great work and good luck! Thanks for your support!

Hi Cathey,

Have you noticed any change at all? Have you been O'ing consistently? Any dieting? Just wondering, because I feel that my inch loss is nothing compared to others. I lost that the first 2 weeks and then nothing since. No pounds either!
It is hard to keep the faith when no changes occur. Yet, when I hear about other results, I figure why can't it happen to ME!
I am only at 6 weeks and I am hoping the changes are starting within and then will miraculously appear!
Keep it up,something has to give sooner or later, and you know that the extra oxygen is good for your body! Thanks for your support, and please keep me posted! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Hi Vicki 1:
Yes, I have notice some changes, I always notice the change in my leggs and brest. Not the places I need to lose. Roll Eyes
I've also noticed that my butt is higher, I feel a lot better physically, My clothes fit a little better, I have plently of energy. When I don't exercise, I feel bad. I'm starting to do it 2x a day. Started this yesterday. I have also changed my eating habbits. I have not eaten meat or refined sugars in 4 days. The first 3 days were a little rough. I'm only eating fruits, veggies, with a little cheese at times for protein, beans or peas, sometimes a handful of peanuts for a snack, 1 x a day maybe, and drinking plently of water.
Hang in there girl, it's slow, but I believe it will happen for us. What have we got to loose?

Take care,
Cathey, Arkansas

Hi there,

Wow, you will melt away with a diet like that!!! I could never do it! How will you know what the O'ing is doing, when you are hardly eating. Guess I keep hoping that just O'ing will do the trick.......(dreaming?) Best of luck to you...

Hi Vicki 1:
2 things I already know. That meat takes a long time to digest because my colon is sluggish, so getting rid of the meat is a good thing. My metebolism is below normal, so the exercise will help to bring it up to normal.
I do eat, I've just cut out the junk. My meals for today is.
Bf-2 slices of cheese toas, water
snack- an apple
lunch- a large salad, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, shreadded cheese & crackers with Ranch dressing/ glass of water.
Dinner- salad, Peas, 1 corn bread muffin, water
snack, if I get around to it will be water mellon. I'm drinking 1 diet coke right now.
I'm not a big eater at all. The more of this type of food I eat, the more I want. I'm not dieting, only cutting out the meat and junk for a couple of weeks. Now if I want to eat something else I will do so. I just do a lot better on carbs, they digest better for me. So, my weight loss will be due to both. You can dream with me. They were talking about the 6 day workout challenge, I workout 6 days already. Sunday's are my no O'ing day. Now I'm trying to work at doing it 2x's a day. I can hardly wait for my abs workout. I'll probally be crying telling you how sore I am.

We'll hang in there together.

Vicki,

You asked if I thought I would lose without the eating plan. No, it doesn't work for me to just Oxycise. I've got to control portions, too. I used to drink a lot of Pepsi, and snack on chocolate chips...they're small you know; can't have too many calories when they're so little.
I can send you an outline of ChangeOne if you're interested. It's pretty painless, really, because you make one change per week, until you've cut your calories back to a reasonable amount.

Websites- I would recommend that everyone who's really overweight look at this candida website and take the self quiz. www.candidasupport.org
Also, this website has lots of info:
http://www.drmyattswellnessclub.com/candidiasis.htm

I'm reading that 80% of the western population has candida, and that causes weight problems for most people, so check it out.

Just my 2 cents....

Susanna, Are you taking any thing (their products)to help you with your Candidiasis, or are you just doing the diet?

Hi,
Thanks for that site. I did read it, and only have the bloated abdomen syndrome. I am still trying to figure out how many people benefit by weight loss with O'ing alone. I'd appreciate anyone's output on that one. I am glad that this is working for you, though.

Ellen, I did take one bottle of Mycostat, which is the caprylic acid they mention on the ThreeLac site. Our son and DIL have taken two bottles each, and are on their 3rd ones, and they're pretty sure that their yeast overgrowth will be under control then. I personally would like to try the ThreeLac, and may do so yet. Right now though, I'm just doing the diet. Are you still hanging in there with your changes?

Vicki, I'm glad you checked that out. No offense intended at all. I truly hope that just Oxycise will get you to where you want to be. I firmly believe that it will help you, if you are consistent, which you have been. So, best of luck!!!

Susanna...thanks for answering my question. Me & my changes' are going round & round Roll Eyes Eek Frown Mad!!!!! Wondering if alot of it might be from PMS. I just can't seem to stick with any diet changes like I use to. Every Sunday I give myself this pep talk & I do real good the first part of the week most times, BUT then it all goes down hill from there. At least I am staying right around the same weight. Even though it can go up or down as much as 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. from one morning to the next. And THANKS to your August challenge, I am doing more "O" then I have in months. I was hoping to be to my goal weight by this week-end. BUT... Roll Eyes Now I hope to be there by Dec.

Ellen: hang in there girl!!! the will power is inside you, just take one day at a time. If you make it through the first day, just focus on each day and not the whole week.

Hang tight!

Susanna,

I do realize that diet is a big part of everything and I do eat healthy and am not much of a junk eater or snacker. But at work sometimes it gets so boring you eat to pass the time.....bad, bad, bad! I truly have to proportion better... it ain't easy, huh? I guess just doing O will never cut it. Yet for so many it has, I don't get it...Guess we just have to do the best we can. I know things will work out for you, you are really committed.

Vicki: Hang in there girl. You'll get stronger. I know sitting around at work we have the urge to eat something. Take you a snack. I do that daily. I haven't eaten my yet. Today is watermellon. I just got up to go get it. Hee!
Anyways, take something that is health for you. A handful of peanuts will also do the trick. You must have a snack in between meals to keep you going so you won't pig out.
This has to be a life style change for all of us. Not just for right now until we lose the weight, for we'll be right back where we started from. Once my 2 wks are up with the strick no meat or sweets, I'll go to 1 x a week for the meat and the sweets if I want it.
I learned when I was trying to quit smoking, it was really hard for me, I'd tried and tried to quite but couldn't. Then one day I thought, I'm tired of being controlled by this cig. I said to myself, it's time to put it down. That was 7 years ago. I stopped that day and haven't gone back. I realized that the change had to come from me, I was being controlled, I wasn't in control. Now, the same thing with food. Is it controlling us or are we in controll? So, I've decide, I'm the one in controll. This is a life style change. I know I'll never smoke agin, because I'm in controll over that, now I'm taking controll over what I put in my mouth to eat.
I hope you don't think I'm preaching, I'm not, I just want us to realize that we are no longer in controll, we are being controlled by what we put in our mouth, and we have the power like the poem said yesterday.

Best wishes,
cathey
