I think for October we should continue with some of our previous challenges plus add something about our eating habits. So, who wants to try this?

* Do at least one Oxycise workout a day, 5 or 6 days a week.

* Try to SMILE while doing it! (Smile, be happy)

* Think of one bad eating habit you have and try to eliminate it!

The addition to our challenge ought to be broad enough to allow everyone some way to participate. Surely none of us are "perfect" in our eating habits! LOL!

Shoot, well I did it again and lost my post. I am in Kelly. I know I have pooped out on the Sep. thing. I have been having a lot of dizzy spells again and trying to get that all situated. So even if I can't do the positions, I will do the breathing in a seated position.

Thanks for always coming up with something for us. You and Susanna are truly an inspiration to our board!

I just got back from the park and did four miles with the dogs. I will do my Total Gym and Oxy tonight incorporated together because I wanna get back on that too.

My WW is good. I have lost 11 pounds total since July 24 and I think my sister has lost 33 or so.

Everyone take care and hop on the October Halloween Hay Ride to happy breathing and health!!!!!

SmileKelly and Lin, I'm IN! The first day of October is here and today will be a good day to start. I think my biggest challenge is going to be the candy. It seems to be all around me at work, not at home.
I set an unrealistic goal for myself last July to be down 35# by Oct 11. What does Dr. Phil say? "Get real." So I'm going to try to be down 10 lbs before Thanksgiving. I have faith in myself that this will be doable.

Kelly congrats on maintaining your weight and Lin congratulations on your weight loss. Big Grin Big Grin

Good luck to all of us on our new goal!

Keep smiling and drink your water!

Gee, this one may be hard for me. I am trying hard not to go overboard with the eating thing, but this month is my DS birthday and I'm planning the party here! I tend to do well for a week, then have a binge of chocolate or something. I guess I can accept the challenge so long as I continue to lose #s this month. In otherwords...moderation! Ok I'm in, but you all must keep on me abt drinking water instead of chocolate! Roll Eyes. OK? Polly

Sharon, I suggest for Halloween that you buy something you DO NOT LIKE to eat or else buy microwave popcorn or something like that instead of all that sugar filled chocolate!

Count me in also guys! I feel like just turning off the porch light this year and not do Halloween. Not to put a damper on things but I can't stand Halloween. So satanic. Just my opinion. We usually have some carved pumpkins out front with a big cross carved on them instead of a face. On our door we usually have a poster that says, "Jesus Loves You". I just talked myself back into having the lights on. If I didn't then no one would see the pumpkins or the sign! Big Grin

Until next time...

Count me in, too! I think I need to try to eat more veggies, even though I eat more of them now than I ever have.

This is a great October challege. I've been mentally planning one for myself. Actually, not just October but just to get back with a routine.

What I came up for myself was similar but clearly bending some rules:

* Do at least 120 O! breaths 5 x a week - 3 days must be with positions.

* Drink a minimum of 70 oz of water daily

* Eat an apple (or similar) between lunch and 4:30 p.m. to curb late afternoon appetite.

That's it. Know this is not impressive but I've really been struggling; need to remember that something is better than nothing. So, I'm trying to build back up to be doing what I should.

BYW, I've yet to O! this week and have not been DMW - so I've already messed it up.

Hi, all--

Hey, O2B, your daily goals sound very good. Nothing to sneer at.

I will be doing the challenge, too. O 5 or 6x/week, smiling, and cutting out snacks or having a good snack and watching food in general. Plus, I need to DRINK MORE WATER.

New here, but those goals sound good to me. I'm in. In addition I'd like to drop a size and get back into the 190s by my birthday (29th).

Good job Ellen. Hope you are feeling better. I know I am trying to do makeup workouts too because I pooped out last week too. I just pooped though, no other excuses. I have made up most of it so far.

Glad to see you stopping in to post again!

My Halloween stickers on my October Calendar are looking pretty good. Anyone else have a spooky calendar in the making?
