Hi everyone. I haven't started yet as I'm a little scared. I think it's because I've failed at everything else and I don't want to fail at this also. I have SO much weight to lose (about 170 pounds). However, I need accountability so maybe this web site will work for me. I'm tired of being a slovenly cow. Nice to meet you (and sorry for being so negative) Shari |

Dear Typinggirl. I too am fairly new, Welcome! Please feel free to try. This group is very friendly and will help and support you any way they can. I just bought 2 tapes on Ebay because I was too chicken to take the plunge and by the whole lot, but now I think I will try and expand my library. The excercises are great! Take care! Look for me on the daily acct page. Lately I've been the first to write my progress.

Welcome typinggirl,
Oxycise has really been making a difference for me. It may not be as fast as I want, but at least it is coming off. You may want to get a measuring tape and measure. I have lost close to twenty inches!!! I have a lot of weight to loose, but I think my dr. will be surprised when she sees me. We would love to have you post with us on the D2L thread. You will get lots of encouragement from everyone on the board. We know you can do it!! After all you have already done the hardest part - ordering and deciding you're going to give it a try. Looking forward to "seeing" you. Sharon |

typinggirl, the first step is the hardest and you have already done that. You are a success at beginning!! One of the things that is helping me (I am the proverbial yo-yo dieter) is to start each day thanking God for helping me yesterday and for giving me the opportunity to make today even better. Sometimes it is so hard to keep a positive attitude but I hope when you find yourself thinking negative thoughts you will STOP and remember...God doesn't make mistakes...you have so much value. So think about the mental hug I am sending your way and give this program a try. I like to think that I didn't fail at my past attempts....I just hadn't found the right one. Please come and post with us on D2L and please feel free to privately email me anytime you need encouragement.

My first advice is say, I am going to do this for one week and just see what happens. I have been doing O! for 10 days and have lost 5.5 lbs. and at least 5 inches. I can't believe the difference in my clothes already. I have on capri pants today that I had to lay on the bed to zip just a few weeks ago. It is so easy, it only takes 15 minutes a day. I have been fat and yo-yo'd all my life. I have found that the reward of getting out of bed 15 minutes earlier is well worth it. Plus the O! seems to get me going. This has got to be the easiest thing I have ever done. And with the amount of weight you have to lose, it will probably come off even faster. Be sure you watch the intro tape and practice the breathing with Jill. I think it is very important that you do it exactly like her. I have pretty well learned the routine on L1, so I close my eyes while I do the breathing. I seem to be able to keep better and be able to concentrate on my breathing rather than watching the DVD. Good Luck and God Bless. I, too, thank God every morning for my motivation and the blessings he bestows me and my family. Mary |

Thank you everyone for your support. I do need to thank God. I don't thank Him often enough for this wonderful life He has given me.

Hi Shari!
So what's your decision? Did you decide to jump in and join us??? You'll never know until you try. We can tell you what Oxycise has done for us, but you won't know what it's going to do for you!!! My advice is to break your goals into smaller goals, so that it isn't overwhelming. For instance, like Mary said, decide to do it for a week, or a month, or three months. Just set a goal, get a calendar ready, and some cute or pretty stickers to reward yourself with, and go for it! Do you have an eating plan in mind? Most people need to a least keep track of what they are eating, in order to lose, even with Oxycise. There are a few exceptions though. I had to have a plan, and I used the ChangeOne plan from Reader's Digest. It worked really well for me. I recorded everything I ate, and really tried hard to stay within the limits, yet I didn't have to cook differently for myself than I did for the rest of the family. I had to learn to recognize my calorie limits though. I increased fruits and veggies and cut way down on goodies, mostly. Please DO measure, because the inches really add up! How about it? Ready, set,....GO!!! |
