The first 6 weeks of 2003 I lost 35lbs. I was on the "husband left me for another woman" plan. I don't recommend it. I went from 210 to 175. I have pretty much stayed between here and 180 (I am 5' 9"). I have in the last year begun to do things for myself. I have been a stay at home mom and homeschooler. Now I am determined to loose the last 25-30 lbs in a healthy way. I figure I want to take advantage of the jumpstart my ex gave me. I have the book and started yesterday and I can really feel it(in a good way). I tried body flex but it didn't seem to make a big difference and I never felt like I had done anything. I really like how I can come here and be encouraged and ask questions. Thanks to all of you who post and have already inspired me. Oh and I am trying to eat smaller portions and healthier. I have all the weight watcher stuff from 2 years ago. I am going to start using that again. It did help me.It just wasn't enough. Angie

Hi Angie! I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I hope you have had good supports.

I'm happy to hear you are moving towards a healthy way of weight loss. I do weight watchers too (which I started about 5 months ago, shortly after my ex-boyfriend broke up with me) and I love it. It really works WHEN I stick with the program. Oxycise is great too! It helped me get rid of my double chin and is continuing to get rid of the rest of my fat all over me.

Good luck and welcome!

Hi Angie! It's great to have you with us! I think you'll find Oxycise has lots of benefits besides weight-loss. It just makes me feel good in general!

I hope you'll post regularly....it really helps in staying accountable. I'm looking forward to seeing you around the board!

We're glad to have you with us, and hope you have great results! I just use the book and commuter tape.

We also homeschool three children, ages 6, 11, and 15. Do you still homeschool?

So sorry about your husband leaving you. I think you'll really like what Oxycise does for you. And weight watchers seems to have a good plan too. The 2 plans combined should be great!

Hey,I homeschool, too! My 15 yr old son and my 4 and 6 yr olds. We have done it off and on over the years.

Good luck! Jennifer Smile

Keep your chin up Smile and continue to look toward the future. You are off to a great start because you have the "want to" now more than ever. I always thought home schooling would be a tuff thing to do, my hats off to anyone that can.
Have a great week end

Yes I do still homeschool. I am trying to figure out exactly what I want to do. Financially I am ok for about 2 years. I want to find something that I can do from home so I don't have to put the kids in P.S. My kids are ds-5, dd-7,ds-9,ds-12. Thanks for the encouragement. I am going to try to make this site a regular part of my day!
