I just went back and read the goals I posted at the beginning of this year. I still can't believe how much success I've had! As many of you know, I originally began Oxycising 5 years (and 77 pounds!!!) ago. I had great success that first year and lost 44 pounds plus lots of inches. However, after maintaining that for awhile I got complacent with my eating and put back on quite a few pounds and inches. At the beginning of this year I finally got inspired again and seriously evaluated my eating habits. Here are my one year results (losses) from eating properly and doing O! six days a week:

Weight: 65.5 pounds
Ribcage: 6.5 inches
Waist: 9.0 inches
Lower abs: 10.0 inches
Hips: 9.5 inches
Thigh: 5.0 inches

I really feel like I'm where I need to be now. So, my goals for this year are to maintain my loss, continue my O!, and try to tone up a little more. I think instead of doing an official weigh-in each Saturday that I'll just take my measurements once a month. I'm sure I'll continue to weigh fairly often, but just to keep tabs and not let things get away from me. I wouldn't mind fluctuating 3 or 4 pounds either direction.

Thanks to all of you for your support during the past year!! I really don't think I could have done it without your encouragement.

KOB & DYW !!!

I second that motion, Susanna! Smile

Kelly is truly an inspiration. She not only inspires me with her determination to get to her goal, but to see her post each day is a comfort to me. Through all the people who have come and gone on this board (including myself), Kelly has been such a constant. When I came back to O, and the board, I was so happy to see some of the people that were here when I left, and one of the main people I looked for was Kelly.

Thanks Kelly, for hanging in there and showing us all that it can be done, if we are willing to make the commitment.

You Go, Girl!!!!!

Kelly, your so funny!

My goal for 2006 is to measure and weigh once a week. I haven't really done that before. It's so stressful! I want to be more aware this year so I'm going to pay closer attention to my weekly successes. (did you notice I said successes?) Think possitive right? Razz

I originally posted this topic on 12-31-05. In January of this year (2007) I sent a new picture and an update for my "Smile of Success" page, but I still haven't seen it there!

Hmmmm... I heard from Kirstine that she'd received my info, but I wonder when it will get posted? I'm really not being pushy, but I just feel that people visiting this site (especially looking at the Smiles sections and Success Stories) like to see current info. There really are a lot of us out there that have had success with this program and continue to use it!
