Hi. I don't have a specific weight loss goal (though that will be a nice bonus). I've had asthma since I was a kid. For most of my adult life (I'm thirty) it's been under control, but for the last 2 years or so I've had to use my inhaler every day. I'm also on advair and singulair, though I still wake up every night with the dreaded night cough. The biggest thing asthma has affected (besides getting a good nights sleep) is the amount of exercise that I am able to do.
So, I'm just trying to increase my lung capacity and sleep through the night. I'll be doing Oxycise 5 days a week. I'll let you know how it goes! And, if I lose any weight, I'll let you know that too. |

Welcome Makk! Oxycise! has helped many people with asthma or other breathing problems. Below is a link to our page on success stories from people with asthma that you may find interesting:
http://www.oxycise.com/Success/asthma.htm I also noticed another post on the general discussions board where an Oxycise! user mentioned that she was able to stop taking all of her asthma medication. Good luck to you and please keep us posted! Kirstine Oxycise! Staff |

Thanks everyone for your kind hellos!
So, I've been doing Oxycise for a little over a week. My asthma is already improved (for the last two nights I have not woken up needing my inhaler). That's pretty big for me, since I've been more and more dependent on it for the past few years. I don't own a scale, but I should be able to tell soon with my tight jeans if Oxycise is helping in that area too Anyway, I'm hooked. I'll keep you updated. |

Welcome Makk! I know that if you keep Oxycising you will be helped in many areas. I am "pushing" 70 and I know that if I skip too many days I really notice the difference. As for the breathing...I don't have asthma, but I used to wake up a lot during the night gasping for breath. Since I have been oxycising I never have that happen.
Keep on breathing Ruth |

Feb. Goal- I will write down the daily improvements and benefits I derive from O! each day I do it, which is at least 5x per week-usually 6x. This will help motivate me to see in writing and journaling exactly all the good I experience for my body and mind. I will focus on the positive, be thankful for any changes, and be forced to recognize that baby steps are really good when headed in the right direction with the right map- progress is happening in little stages. A daily paragraph at the end of the day can be a good reflection time and a recommitted mental effort that won't take much time.
