Hello everyone,
Who wants to lose five pounds this month? I sure do!! I started on June 26th at 197.6. Weighed in at 196.4 today. (July 01) My goal is to be 191 or less by the end of this month. Who's with me? It's a brand new month. Let's get 'er done!!! Rich |

Well, we are one week into the challenge and I'm not looking too good. I mentioned in another posting that my weight has been fluctuating up and down about 1.5 pounds for the last several days.
I'm not discouraged by this and I am doing lots of resistance exercise with bands, etc. Water is still good and, although my diet hasn't been too, too bad, I know I can do better. These last three weeks I'm going to intensify things. More breathing throughout the day is a must. I'll keep you posted. Take care. Rich |

Make sure you're watching your salt intake, Rich; Salt can add more water weight than you think; Cut that out, get those breaths in, and I bet you see an immediate change on the scale--

Hello everyone,
Well, only 13 days to go. After days of my weight going up and down (more up than down, unfortunately) I have finally made a breakthrough. I think my body has gotten the message that I really want to lose those 5 pounds. I was encouraged by what the scale said this morning. Now I have renewed determination to reach my goal. I hope everyone is having success thus far. I will be revealing my final total after the challenge has ended. LET THE GAMES BEGIN...AGAIN!!! I wish you all a happy and safe weekend. I lost 2.8 lbs. Not what I was hoping for but I will be happy with this for now. I will shoot for a 3 lb loss for August. This time I will also check measurements. How did everyone do in July? Jeans |

Hello everyone. Well the moment of truth is here. In the weight loss area I did not do so well. After being up and down all month, I ended up weighing in this morning at 197.4.
On the other hand, this morning I was able to get into size 36 pants. I guess my heavy resistance band workouts shifted some stuff around. Anyway, it's a new month and I am renewing my challenge. The goal is still at least five pounds, and a comfortable fit into those size 36 pants. Jeans - congratulations on your weight loss. I'm sure you will succeed with the remainder this month.
