Hi, I am 45. I used to be in better shape than I am now. I try to walk at least 3 times a week and usually watch what I eat. Although, sometimes sweets are hard for me not to have. I have cut back on them alot.
I am 5'6" tall and am 165. I want to get down to aleast 145 or 150 pounds. I would like to get rid of my tummy too. That is my bad spot. I have tried so many things.. to lose,floor excerises ect and taebo and nothing seems to work well. Also, if you go on vacation or go somewhere it is hard to continue but I think Oxy you can do anywhere alot easiler. My husband lost alot of weight last year just by hard work outside and I just feel bad about myself right now and would like to feel better. I know how you feel should come from the inside but how you look helps sometmes. I am not really hung up on that type of thing but I think losing weight I would feel better physically. It's nice to meet you. Yes, one of the advantages of Oxycise is that you can do it anywhere without special equipment. I don't have any of the tapes, just the book, so I do it anywhere in the house that's available. We really can't compare ourselves with men. I believe that our bodies gain and lose very differently from them, so doing what they do won't necessarily have the same result. Anyway, good luck, and we hope to see you around here often- a lot of us post at the Daily Support and Accountability section- D2L (determined to lose). It would be fun to see you there, too!

You are so right we can't compare ourselves to men. I tried to tell my dh that. Anyway, all I know this feels good and right to do. I want to stick with it. I was thinking about even getting the audio tape to play in the car. I stay at home but I figure I could use it when I go to the store. Thank you again and good luck.
