My challenge for this month is to O five times a week, and drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. You get an extra smiley face or sticker if you drink your water.
Will you join me? Sharon |

hi...i'm a newbie here...i've been doing oxycise on and off for about a year...of course saw no results until i put the gutso into it...i know do it 3 to 4 times a day...six days a week...i also follow somersizing way of eating (suzanne somers way of eating) lost 25lbs with it...then incorporated oxycise and lost an additional 10 pounds...but, i have a weird question...i've had depression problems off and on for the past two years (from postpartum for which i'm being treated with paxil)...i know from doing kundolini (sp?)yoga that certain hard breathing techniques can bring up unwanted emotions from painful memories...kind of like reliving trauma...i know they say to keep breathing through it and ride it out...b/c it's sort of like an emotional detox...i've been having problems with this and have felt like i've been in a funk for the last three weeks has anyone else had this problem...oh, and let me know how often to post in b/c i'd love to do the challenge with you guys,
thanks for your help, amber |

Hi Amber,
First a great big welcome to the board. I don't know the answer to your question, but someone else probably will. What you wrote, makes sense to me. Please join us on the D2L board. It's under the 2nd blue section called Daily Support and Accountability. Simply click on the right where it says Last Topic. There are quite a few of us, who are there almost everyday. D2L stands for determined to lose. When I was first told about it, I kept looking for D2L and couldn't find it. LOL Glad to have you joining the challenge. Sharon |

Thanks for the challenge, Sharon. I'll try to join in. I really fell off the wagon for the last half of August, so I'll try to stick with it this time.
Amber, I haven't had experience with emotional detox, but I've heard of it. I hope that you find it very beneficial to ride it out. I have problems with too much yeast in my body, and that causes a lot of emotional upheaval, as well as keeping me from losing weight and keeping it off. You might have that checked by a naturopathic practitioner, because it's very prevalent but few people realize it. I've just been trying to fight it by myself, and not having such great results, but I know some who have gotten help and feel so much better. I'm trying to be much more careful how much I eat this month, also. I think it's so easy to just slip in a few extra calories without realizing it! I bought enough fresh produce over the weekend that my nose should start twitching! |

Me too. I am up on the wagon again. I had a really bad cold and sore throat last week and had to lay off, but I at least walked 3 miles every day this week, except today.
