Okay how is this? Anyone wanna try this----I move that we do one O workout with positions and do an extra 60 breaths without positions and cut our calorie intake by 100 calories a day to make up for what we ate in December to try to whip us all back in shape. And of course don't forget, you have to drink your water!!!!! How does that sound?

Lin,

I will join the challenge. Do you have suggestions on how to get all that water down?

Have a very Happy New Year!

Sheila what I did was buy the large bottles of Propel and (33 oz) and then when it empties fill it up with water or whatever fluid, preferrably water but I have been drinking propel since it has a taste to it and jug it down and I try to drink 2-3 of those a day or at least that is what I am trying and it seems to be easier that way for me.

Also, goes down better with some flavor, so try some lemon with it or something.

Since the hubby is in Pittsburgh the rest of the month, I can Oxycise in the car without feeling silly Smile So I'll shoot for at least 40 extra breaths daily in the car on my commute home during the week. And I'm not interested in counting calories, but heres what I'll do: every time I feel peckish or crave a sweet, I'll hit the water first and wait a few minutes. That'll up my water intake! (And hopefully cut down on snacking...)

Not to big of a commitment, but I know I can do it! I gotta figure every little bit helps Big Grin

HEY ALEX - Good to see you back, I was just thinking where have you been while I was out riding around today. Isn't that funny how we think about people while we are out and about and we don't even know them! So what is your hubby doing up here in Pittsburgh the rest of the month? I live 30 minutes from town, about 40 miles.

Haha... I saw you "peeking" and was wondering if you were going to post again! Big Grin

Hubby is there for training...hes an electrical engineer, specializing in power and controls (of huge power plants mostly). But the training is only offered in Pittsburgh...so off he flew! He got a AAA book hoping to find someplace local to entertain himself on the weekends, as he will just be burning time. Got any recommendations of sights to see or places to eat?

Gee we taught you something new and she tells on everyone now ! HA Ha!

Well going to Station Square is always fun. There are a few good places there to eat and entertainment in a few of the bars in the evening. He should go ride the incline and can see the city from it. Not a whole lot to do in the winter. Franco Bravo's downtown by Heinz Hall is an expensive restaurant but the food is delicious. On 1-18 Chris Botti is going to be performing at Heinz Hall if he likes Jazz trumpet. He has played on Oprah before and does a lot of fancy weddings. There are a lot of museums to go to in town as well. Is he staying right in downtown Pittsbugh or in the suburbs some place?

Lin- I would go see Jazz trumpet in concert, but I don't think my hubby could sit still that long (he's like a little squirmy kid in church! Razz), especially after hours of sitting on his rump for training! He only goes to music concerts when I go with him. (My mom sings with the Symphic Choir here in Portland, and we have a deal, I only ask him to 1 concert a year, and he goes and tries to behave himself Smile The only one he really enjoyed was the "Lord of the Rings" concert with the Oregon Symphony.)

He said he's staying downtown, probably near wherever is hosting the training. Hubby said the people running the training gave him some ideas of things to do. But I'll tell him about Franco Bravo's (hey, its on the company's dime!).
