Today I kept my commitment not to eat junk,leave refined sugar alone, and to do an extra workout each day. I've kept all of those today. I feel good. One thing about the extra exercise, I really feel it in my lower back & stomach. Boy do I feel it there. I know in the a.m. tomorrow, I'll be even sorer, but I've got to keep at it. I'm pround of myself for this reason. This evening my husband said he would have to eat all of the cookies, I told him I didn't even care to have one cookie. Going without for 4 days is easier than 3day. Roll Eyes
Have anyone else kept their commitment today? I am determined.

I kept my commitments today, too. I REALLY wanted chocolate tonight, but I didn't give in. I don't know if I'll ever stop missing the goodies. I've done without them for almost 3 months now, and still crave them!

Hi Cathey,

Yesterday I did! (Wed) I added some weights, and a few extra breaths, too. I wanted to do O first thing this morning but did not have time this morning. I will get to it right after work, though! Do you think doing this twice will make a big difference>

Hi Susanna: Good for you!!!!! Big Grin I'm proud of you. I'm off the junk food, but if I wanted a piece of choclate I'd eat it. I just won't eat the whole bag. I'd just buy 1 candy bar and eat it. Once you deprive yourself for so long and once you start to eat what you have been craving you'll go over board. So don't do that. You have displayed well power, have that piece of cake and stop there. What I'd do, I just if I baked it, I bake, I'd bake my cake and cut me a slice and either freeze the rest or give it away and that way you won't be tempted. Way to go girl Smile

Hi Vicki 1: Yes, I think it will make a difference. I can tell my body is working harder when I get up the next morning and start to exercise or when I exercise in the evening, I really feel it even more. I sleep soooooooooo good. That tells me alone that my body has really had a workout. I can hardly wait for my abs workout. I know I'll probally be crying. Sometimes the body need an additional boost. I know mine does. You can start off with additional every other day, vary it. That's what I do.

Another thing: when I exercise, my body crave good food. The healthy kind. If I don't exercise, it graves junk. yulk!!!!! Confused
so hang in there guys with me. Never give up.

Vicki I haven't added weights as yet, my body doesn't need that right now.

Good idea, maybe I will try one total L1 in the AM and part of it after work, that'll still be a little extra. The problem is making the time, seems there are so many things that need to be done! Guess that'sthe committment part! Have a great evening.

Hi Vicki: Having time, non of us have the time. We have to make time for ourselves. You know what. I get up every morning at 6:30 most time 15 min. earlier. I know I need to get ready for work, but I take that 15 min out for myself.This morning, I did not want to get up. I slept so good. I got up @ 6:30 washed my face, brushed my teeth , got my water, and workout. Took my shower, did not have time for makeup this a.m. I didn't care. I don't have to have the make-up but I do need the good health. So, I opted for good health. I home study for my psy. class. I must make time to do my home work because it is important to me. Start making you a priority. You are IMPORTANT... FIND ways to help you. Doing part of a workout is good. I sometimes have done 10 min. that's all the time I had, but I made the effort to do something for me.
