Hi! I noticed there are some success stories that have to do with Thyroid conditions under "Success Stories" on the main paige. If you click on Success Stories, there's a link for specific medical conditions, and there are a few listed under Thyroid conditions. Hope that helps! Smile

Donalam, Have you heard of the Blood-Type Diet by Peter J. D'Adamo? According to him, wheat and corn are the two main foods that affect the thyroid gland. I have proven this in my body over and over. It's difficult, b/c everybody loves wheat!! But when I give up wheat, dairy, corn, and sugar, the fat literally melts off. I know about 10 other people who tried it and had the same results.

I also know a medical expert on fungus (www.iknowthecause.com) who relates fungal conditions to a weak thyroid. Wheat, sugar, and starches feed fungus! He has had innumerable results with people that have thyroid conditions all losing weight or enjoying rewarding health by giving up or greatly limiting specific foods (namely wheat, starches, most grains, most dairy, etc.)

Unless you have a thyroid deficiency that cannot be treated w/o medicine, thyroid dysfunctions can be enhanced and boosted naturally through diet and exercise--but diet is KEY!

If diet and exercise do not seem to make a difference, you may be in need of hormone. Perhaps you can benefit from going to this website:

http://www.mercola.com/article/hypothyroid/diagnosis.htm

This is a doctor who prefers natural methods when possible. He has a search box at the top right of his page which will let you access over 15,000 documents on most any subject.

Wishing you well,

Katherine

Hello,

I also have a low thyroid. It was just discovered a few months ago. We are still trying to find the right amount of Synthroid for me. Anyway, I have only been doing Oxycise for 1 1/2 weeks and have lost 3 1/2 pounds. I feel like I have tons more energy. What seems to help me the most is doing the mat exercises in bed before I get up for the day. Hope this helps a little.
