Hi everyone! I just received my tapes yesturday, I put them in immediatley and did them this morning. I am so sore, is this normal? I can't beleive that something this easy will work against the dreaded bulge! I really feel as if I was in the gym for an hour lifting weights. Can anyone tell me how long it will be until I see results? I took my measurements this morning.

Hi Ginarena! Welcome to Oxycise! and the message board. Sounds like you got a good workout! If you're sore, you are obviously using some muscles you haven't used before. As for results...we're all different, so there's no way to predict when or what kind of results you'll see. The important thing is to just try and be consistent with your workouts.

Come join us on the D2L (determined to lose) thread each day for extra encouragment!

Hi Ginarena,

Welcome.

It is hard to believe it will work. I've been Oxycising for a little over a week and admit I expected to lose dramatically. The pounds aren't falling off but I have lost some inches. I've finally come to the conclusion that it's going to take time.

One step at a time.

Hi! Remember the Tortoise? Slow and steady wins the race!!! When you take pounds off slowly, it's easier on your body, and we tend to keep them off longer. I lost 68 pounds in one year, and that was slower than some here, but faster than others. Some of it depends on how much you have to lose, also, along with your health conditions. Soreness is not unusual. After more than 3 years, I still "feel the burn" with Oxycise! Good luck and welcome to the board!!

Hi Ginarena, I spent my first few days reading the book and watching the introduction video. I have been doing "O" for 6 days and yes my muscles are sore too but that means progress to me. I have lost 2+3/4 inches and am thrilled. I didn't lose any wieght but I didn't lose my appetite either Red Face. I think this week I will control my eating and do my "O". I'm looking forward to next week's results. Hang in there! Bonny
