Hi all, I'm kinda new. I posted once before a long time ago but never got the tapes. I just ordered them last night though, wish me luck.

I do not want to go on a diet. I mean, I'll watch what I eat, try to eat better, snack less, etc etc, but I don't want to go on a DIET. I don't want to do Atkins or Weight Watchers or count calories or fat grams or weigh food.

Is there any hope for me that Oxycise alone (but with *sensible* eating) can help me lose weight?

I'm 5'3", 34yrs old, and 234 pounds.

I see a lmhc/rd (registered dietician who is also a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in eating disorders). She does not want me (nor do I want) to go on a diet, but to learn to eat better and healthier. She wants me to exercise but I have NO ENERGY to do it.

I recently suffered a terrible loss in the family (my sibling died just this past January) and stress has depleted my energy. I can barely climb the stairs. If I had more energy, I'd bike more, walk more, I'd go to the gym that I pay for but am not going to.

Can Oxycise really help me get the fat off without going on a DIET-DIET? I've been-there-done-that w/ the counting calories and weighing and measureing food. Weight Watchers did not work for me and I will not do Atkins or any other "diet".

Is there hope for me? I don't want to be skinny, I just don't want to be fat anymore.

Welcome Laserone! I don't think you have to be on a "diet" to lose with Oxycise, however you do need to change your eating habits. Eating healthier, watching your total calorie intake and smaller portions is a big step! You can't expect to eat at McDonald's 3x a day and lose weight. I think you realize this though...a lifestyle change in what you eat sounds like what will be best for you! Good luck to you and hope to see you more around the boards! Hi Laserone,

No diets for me either. I've been doing O! for two weeks now and without changing my eating habits I have shrunk a little. The scale doesn't show it yet, but it will soon.

I am sorry for your loss, I truly cannot imagine how that must feel. Doing O! daily will give you more energy to do more things. You won't be running up the stairs right away, but you will notice a difference.

Hi Laserone! I'm not much on dieting, either. However, I do believe you have to eat sensibly...and that includes proper portions. (one of my downfalls) In fact, that is one of the pulls of Oxycise...that you don't have to diet, just eat sensibly.

Hope you have great success with the program. You'll certainly find lots of support and encouragement here on the Message Board.

First, I am so sorry for your loss of your sibling.

As far as Oxycise working without dieting, I know you won't get as much benefit unless you eat sensibly. But one big benefit for me with Oxycise was increased energy and just more of a feeling of well-being.

I am just getting back on track with Oxycise today. Two years ago I lost 30 pounds doing Oxycise and Weight Watchers. I don't want to go on WW again either, even though I think it is a good diet. Let me say though, that I had been doing WW and was losing slowly, but when I added Oxycise, my inch and weight loss sped up greatly. I tried on a pair of pants just before starting Oxycise and could not pull them up past my hips and by the end of the month I could wear them! That is not your typical weight loss!

At this point my plan is just to get rid of the soda, and start doing Oxycise. Nothing drastic or complicated.

I hope you enjoy the tapes you just ordered - I really think you will!

I don't like to diet either. i was small for many years, worked hard in a janatorial business & ate little. Now i got married St. Patricks Day last year and got in the comfort zone i call it. then I could hardly get in my jeans, started wearing baggy shirts to hide the love handles. Frown
I started O on Jan 1 of this year, eating the food on the list in different combinations, have lost 13 lbs and at least 8 inches allover. I am a believer, & i feel great. You will to. You have taken that 1st. step by ordering the tapes and chatting with all of us. We are a great support group. & don't be afraid to ask questions we may not have all the answers but do have great input. Good Luck to you Big Grin
