Hi there,

I started doing oxycise about six months ago and was doing really good but a few things happened and my good eating and oxycise went on the back burner. I am now ready to start again and stick at this time and hopefully get some good results.

I find the healthy eating really hard, has anybody got some tips on how to eat good??

The other thing is I only have oxycise level one, is that all I need to loose weight??

I look forward to all your replys.

Sheree

Hi Sheree....welcome back to Oxycise!!

Portion control is my biggest challenge, so I've had my best success by writing down what I eat and counting my calories (most days....I allow some "off days" so I don't feel like I'm dieting). Combining this will Oxycise has helped me to lose 60 pounds this year!

Come join us in the D2L thread each day for support and encouragement!

Welcome Sheree,

Please do join us in the D2L thread. I know that I have received lots of encouragement from everyone.

I have only been doing Oxycise for a little over a month, and I can definitely say it has made a difference. I have lost several inches doing Level 1. I don't currently have a scale, so I don't know about the pounds. My clothes are fitting better, and I do have more energy.

My biggest eating changes have been adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet. The other thing has been drinking water. I probably need to do what Kelly does and actually write down what I eat.

Glad to have you with us.
Sharon

Welcome back, Sheree! I use the Change One plan from Reader's Digest. There's an outline of it at the top of the board under "discussions". I only do O once a day, usually 5 or 6 days a week. This month I've been doing it everyday.

Welcome back Sheree!

I am a return Oxyciser also. The first time, I lost 50 pounds and 48 inches overall doing O and just limiting my portions. Then, I hurt myself (not doing O) and I stopped everything. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I gained back half of the weight I had lost. Now I am back and I won't quit this time!

I completely agree with Kelly. I write down every bite that goes into my mouth, even if it is just a "taste" of something. Those "tastes" add up in calories, they are not free!!! I was amazed at how much things I was eating cost in calories. As a result, I have tried to add more fruits and veggies to my diet since they are lower in calories and better for you.

You CAN do this. This board offers excellent support. Just jump in an join the rest of us! See ya on D2L!!!

Hi Sharon...welcome to the board!

The D2L thread is located in the "daily support and accountability" section of the message board. That's where most of the action is each day. Hope to see you there!

Hello to Susanna! I'm back to try to do this again. Thanks to Susanna she has kept in touch and encouraged me to get back here so far I have just read the posts but am going to try to post in d2l daily. I see lots of newbies that's great. Also seen another Joyce L. so I'll just use jbican. Good luck to all! Susanna thanks for caring enough to keep in touch. jbican
