Hi! I'm a newbie (actually not that new - have had the tapes for awhile but haven't really used them). I am getting started today. I was a BodyFlexer at one point but the breathing is too harsh for me.

This is my question: I have been essentially killing myself with daily hour long cardio sessions and three times a week doing other workouts (Lotte Berk, Weights, FIRM, etc.) with unimpressive results.

I was wondering - seems a lot of people are having a lot of success with Oxycise but are you ONLY Oxycising or doing other workouts to supplement that?

Welcome, speds!

I've done some walk videos off and on with my O!, but I had my best results when I was doing Oxycise! alone.

Hi there Speds. I have to agree with Kelly. I was doing some walking videos a few times a week and I probably will again because I enjoy them. But, for the purpose of losing weight and inches, when I concentrate on doing more Oing, I get better results.

Welcome Speds!
I only do "O". Down 10 lbs & about 25 inches. I have started doing 2 or more a day to jump start my metabolism again. I have been on a plateau for awhile.

I too used to do other tapes, mostly Walk Away the Pounds but now, and maybe it is seasonal, I only O!

I like the WATP tapes but I do them because I like them not because they are so effective. I find Oxycise more effective and it doesn't 'kill' me. So for simplicity in my life when the great outdoors beckons, I stick with the one that works, Oxycise! alone.

For me, the combination of O! with other workouts makes for a great exercise program. I do a Leslie Sansone 2-mile walking/strength training tape, an LS 1-mile intense calorie-burning walking tape, and a Kathy Smith 3-miler walking tape. I also do a lot of walking outdoors. I do O! before those other workouts because it stretches out my sore muscles, gives me energy, and really works my abs, where the others don't as much.

I find that if I need a break from the other videos for a week or two, I can still just do O! and know that I'm not going to lose my level of strength that I had achieved previously.

It's pretty cool! I love it.
