It is quite possible that you're gaining muscle AND losing fat. Muscle weighs more than fat and also helps burn fat quicker! It is more important that you are losing inches than pounds! I'm sure that eventually the pounds will come off!

I just printed the article from the Oxycise Page, Tips for Weight Loss Success. It is an excellent article. I didn't start losing the pounds, even doing Oxycise daily, until I got real about a healthy eating plan. Jill's Fuel for Success helped me greatly. I've finally learned how important keeping my food diary is....I can compare weeks that the 1 or 2 pounds came off, with the weeks when no pounds came off. And then I can adjust my Oxycise schedule and also my eating pattern. For me, I do Oxycise 7 days a week. If I skip a day, it's too easy for me to skip several days. And I also have a slow metabolism. This is a great site. Good luck! Jeanelle

Sylvie, check out my post on Forget the Pounds, Listen to the Inches--just two posts down from yours on the General Discussion list. If you're losing inches, stand up and SHOUT! Don't worry about the pounds--you'll find it won't matter. Our society (and just about any health manual you can find) has brainwashed us into thinking we've got to fit into a specific table for our correct weight. When you start adding muscle mass, it changes all the rules. Check out the post and keep on losin'!

I for one will be estactic when I start losing inches. I do care about the pounds, but the inches are what people see, not your weight on the scale! If the scale said you weighed 106 but your inches showed you were much larger, when you told people you weighed 106 they'd say "yeah, right". So it doesn't matter what you weigh. If you're losing inches, rejoice and stay away from the scale.

Lately my losses are on a standstill but when I look at my body I am seeing more muscle. At the park today my teen aged girls said "Woohoo Mom we are admiring your legs." When kids notice you know something is working.
