Shonnalarae... I think many of us know exactly how you feel. I know I certainly do!
When I feel like nothing is working, I remind myself of the other benefits I'm getting from Oxycise. It's become such a part of my life that I know I would miss it (and feel worse) without it! Just think about how good all that extra oxygen makes you feel in general. Remember....many people do not have dramatic results right off the bat with Oxycise. Sometimes it is just a slow process.
Hang in there and keep trying!

They're always very encouraging!

EVERBODY experiences ups and downs and slow times and everybody gets discouraged. Even those who have lost weight successfully and kept it off have gone through a lot of "hard times" to get there. The only difference is that they didn't quit!

Hello!

I know it can be frustrating when you hit a slump. But I have found that it is because I got lazy with my breathing. To keep myself from doing that, I re-do the intro tape at least once per month.

After you do that, you may find that you have gotten lazy with the breath.

Also, make sure that as you progress you are stretching harder and breathing with more UMPH. That speeds the progress also.

Hope this helps you get over that feeling.

When I get that feeling, I step up my workouts, too. An advanced level in the morning before breakfast. Then after lunch Level 1 or the commuter workout. (If I do level 2 any time other than the morning, I have too much energy to get to sleep right away at night.)

I do this about 4 or 5 times per week for a couple weeks and it gets me MOTIVATED!!!!

Keep Breathing!
Kim

In addition to the excellent suggestions given here by others, I would like to add that it is helpful to be objective to these negative comments that are popping into your head. Even when we are doing positive, wonderful things for ourselves (probably especially when we are) there are forces in this world that try to hold us back. Don't let them. I'll find myself looking in the mirror and suddenly feeling discouraged that I have another 30 lbs. to lose, or whatever. Everyone goes through this. You have to become mentally tough and re-focus on the positive gains you are experiencing. I find this Message Room really helps, too!

Well, First of all, I totally believe in you!!! Hey, You can do it. I know being a VERY impatient computer programmer.. and 19 year old, how it is to want results right now!!! I did the raw food diet and lost a lot of weight but now realize what I was missing for energy... oxycise!

So believe me, if you keep doing it, you WILL get results!! Just remind yourself every day of what you are going to achieve and know you will achieve it!

I find when I get discouraged or want to slack off I stand in front of my full length mirror and make myself recognize the changes that have taken place. I then say things like, "you can do this". It helps. I will also take out my really heavy pictures and look at them. That is really inspiring. Sometimes I will call a friend and they can be encouraging, too. Hope this will help a little.
