This happened many months ago, but I thought a few of you might get a kick out of it.

Not long into my original Oxy adventure (about a year ago), I was doing L1 reaching up the wall and squatting at the same time. I've always had a weak back (from falling on it twice), so I have to be careful, but when I felt the slight pinch between my shoulderblades, I thought, "Awwww, what can go wrong? I'm only breathing!" Common sense told me to stop, but I KOB ( big grin), and landed myself right into a pinced nerve (perhaps from doing it too aggressively).

My husband thinks I'm half nuts for "breathing" my way into health to start with, so, when I wound up literally knocked off my back for 3 solid days with a pinched nerve, can you imagine how stupid I felt when he asked me for the nth time: "Now, wwhathat was it you did to knock your back out?"

"Breathing," I said with a roll of the eyes. (He looked at me like I'd told him I'd fallen off the teeter-totter!)

I learned the hard way that there's more Ummph! to Oxycise than meets the eye!

Live like there's no tomorrow
Eat like no one's watching
And Breathe like you're on a respirator!

Katherine. LOL, LOL big grin To think that people say Oxycise doesn't do anything for you because it's not jumping up & down or running around! I have begun to get cramps in my abdominal muscles lately, which is great because until recently, I wasn't sure I still HAD abdominal muscles! razz
