Here's a common complaint we hear from new members of the Message Board:

"I registered and it says I can't post a message until I answer the email but I haven't received an email."

Here are two possible causes for this problem, as suggested by one of the support technicians for this board:

"When a user registers on your site they are sent an email to verify their address. This email will contain a link that they should click in order to verify the email address.

"Most likely one of 2 possiblities are happening in this case.

1) "The email was marked as spam or junk and is in their Junk email folder. Have the user check that folder to see if there is an email from either your site, or support_bot@groupee.com. Both will be titled with "Registration Confirmation"

"They can click the link within one of those emails to verify their address then log in as expected.

2) "Some email readers will split the link for the email confirmation into two lines. They can still visit the link by copy & pasting the sections into the address field of their browser. (make sure there are no spaces between the sections)."
