I have purchased the upper level tapes but due to back/hip/neck injuries I better just stay with Level 1 for a while. I may be able to step it up a bit with a few of the 'combos' from level two and some from the Abs and Upper Body, but not much. I should be grateful that I can do most of Level 1 with no problems. Have others of you had to stay at Level 1? Do most people with the really great results work with the more difficult levels or can they also be reached with just level 1?
Good morning High5! I just have L1, L2, and buns and thighs. I have only had the latter 2 for about 2 weeks, but have tried to fit them in now and then. I like level one best so far, because I feel I can do the breaths best with it. I think that is what is most important. Being able to do some of the stretch's as well as mastering the breaths along with it. Jill has said either in her book or intro tape, that you really never have to go beyond L1, that you will still always get results you are looking for. I think the other tapes are just to mix things up and not become bored.
Really? I just started Oxycise a couple weeks ago and wanted to order Level 2 so that it will get here and be ready for me if I start to hit a plateau and need to go onto the next level. But I wanted to try to find a copy on ebay or another used copy somewhere, and haven't been able to find any that is lower than the Oxycise website price. So maybe now I won't worry so much.
Its wierd. I'm losing weight when I go for weigh-ins at Weight Watchers but my inches don't seem to want to budge anymore. Isn't it often the other way around? But I'm not planning to give up yet because I know it has worked for everyone else (and I am still losing pounds, just not inches) so I'm going to stay with it.

Level 1 is all I do because I don't have any way to play videos. I've lost 62 pounds since Jan. 17, so I would say it's very possible to keep losing with level 1.
Caroline, my body seems to take turns- sometimes I see pound losses, and sometimes inches. I'm just glad you're having good results!!!

Thanks for the reply's. I will continue with Level 1 with a little more satisfaction. I usually do it once a day, sometimes twice. Have missed a few days when I was really busy or traveling. I have to admit that I don't always get all the breathing parts right even now, when I really concentrate on having my abs tight when I do the three puffs, I can really feel it. I will stick with Level 1 and try to do it twice a day through the Holidays. Next year I will try to step it up again.
Hello High5: I started oxycizing two years ago with Level One. For two years prior to that I could not raise my right arm without help from my left arm. Could not get anyting down from cupboards with my right arm. WHen I did the streches on the floor had to put my right arm up with my left arm and then bring it back down the same way. After about 3 weeks of "O"ying to mu surprise one day did not need help with my left hand. The right arm went up and down fine. Still does, unless I allow 5 days or so go by without Oxycise. I have done all the other levels little by little and notice theat with each one I am a little more limber. When I started Level 4 there was no way I could do "the pretze". Now I have no problem with it. At 65 yrs. I need to keep limber. So the different level do help with that. But it was Level One That helped me so much at first. this is a wonderful program. Just re-read my post to High5 and my writing was terrible. So sorry about that. I really can spell and write. Ruth
