I over did it a bit and had to back off for a couple weeks. I'm getting better now and trying to get regular on the workouts again. I did an easy L1 maybe three times for a couple weeks, will get in at least five this week, I know that won't get me any progress but hoping it will allow me to maintain the improvements I've seen. Just wondering if any of you have experiences with times you've had to slow down? I should have tried the commuter program, haven't listened to it yet. But I really had to be really easy with my poor muscles.

I wrote a thread about it. too. About a month ago I had a week where my legs and glutes were so painful, I could barely move. Frown I didn't do my walking tape for a week and did level 1 SLOWLY with no weights, mainly just to feel the stretch. Then the next week I added the weights again and only did the walking tape 3 times. Now, for the past two weeks I have been able to do L1 with weights and my walking tape 4 days a week, and I have no pain.

It's your body's way of telling you that you've reached the point where all you would do if you kept going is make no progress, and eventually injure yourself. So, you MUST rest. You will find after you've rested you will more than likely make more progress once you start up again and feel even stronger. I know I did.

Hope that helps you...
