O.K. veterans...I need your advice. I am just starting my Oxycize lifestyle (and trying to get into better shape for an October Bahamas cruise...)

I am planning the following schedule (I realize it's aggressive but my situation is...well..dire and need to get some of these inches off):
Weeks 1 & 2: Level 1 twice a day
Weeks 2 & 3: Level 2 twice a day
Weeks 3 & 4: Level 3 twice a day/abs & upper body once a day
Weeks 4 on: Level 4 twice a day/abs & upper body once a day

Throughout the day I will practice my breathing with the commuter tape...

How does this sound?

Personally it sounds like alot especially if you are breathing with gusto.

I agree with Shelby... I'm afraid by trying to do too much you are going to burn yourself out on Oxycise! Personally, I wouldn't even try to twice a day until you really get into the hang of things. Just my opinion, though....

Good to see you over in the D2L thread!

You have to really know you are doing the breathing right. Today I did L1 twice & was sore in my abs after so I knew it was effective. O! seems easy but if it too easy it may not be correct breathing. KWIM?

I would have to agree with Shlby and Kelly. If you are looking for something "extra" I do a 20 minute walk with O. I know others do the 2 mile with Leslie Sansone (30 min tape). I know it's hard to be patient, especially with something that big coming up. I would say with O and watching what you eat (and walking too if you want to add in), your off to a really good start. The one thing I have learned is you cannot go wrong in any way shape or form by doing something good for yourself. As much as some people want to rush the process of a better body, stick to a program that works for you. If you find any extra is demotivating you, look at your expectations. they may be to high. Personally doing the level one once a day has been amzing in the body changes and my health and is something I do for myself everyday that includes weekends. Keep going!

Speds, I say Go For It! I don't think twice a day at first would be too overwhelming. Then if it does seem like too much, you can adjust your plan to what feels right for you. Also, watch the food intake as best you can. Just eat a little less than you normally do. Remember, in Jill's book she says that once a day is a minimum, and if you can do more that could be even better. Let us know how you are progressing!
