I am having some difficulty with some of the positions.

like the sit and reach wall position. Am I supposed to feel it in my back or in my arms.

the only other position I have problems with is the squat and rip the floor. How much am I supposed to turn my feet in? Do I bend my knees in rip the floor? How much?

I'll try to answer these:

Sit and reach...you'll probably feel it both places. Every muscle that stretches receives some oxygen, which is what you want.

Squat and rip the floor, the book says to angle your toes SLIGHTLY inward. It also says to bend your knees slightly, in rip the floor. The purpose of bending your knees is to keep your back in alignment, the way I understand it.

I'm not a pro on these things, but this is how I understand this. I hope it helps.

Breena I agree with Susanna

One thing to keep in mind is when you bend your knees don't bend them so far that they go past your toes. You should still be able to see your toes past your knees when you look down. That way you won't hurt your knees. That's what I've been told. So far it's worked for me.

Hi Brenna,

While doing the sit and stretch position, you want to feel it all the way up your side and back, and also in your arms.

While doing the rip the floor position, you just turn your toes in slightly, just enough to get a good grip so you can feel like you're ripping the carpet apart. And yes, bend your knees a little.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck to you!
