The postions for the isometrics exercise's are very well thought out. They did an excellent job. I think maybe more emphasis might be required though to get people to understand that they are the one that determine how intense the workout is by the level of tension they hold in their muscles!

When I say one person coment on how easy the exercise's where I imediately wanted to tell them to work harder then. Since I had not recieved my copy at the time I refrained.

Just so people know Isometrics is becausely contracting the muscles with out any movement taking place. It is not thatpopular in the USA but was inthe 1950's. Most Soviet sports authorites claim one should contain some isometrics in your training. They normaly claim that 10 minutes of isometrics has the same metabolic cost's as 2 hours of intense resistance training. You have to keep inmind they are working with highly motivated world class athletes. The thing with isometrics is that they can be super effective or they can be a waste of time.It is entirely up to the end user what they get out of them basedon the amount of tension they build.

What I like about the isometrics on this programis that they make you breath most of the health issues associated with isometrics is basicly due in part tot he breath holding. Eleminate the breath holding and you elimanate the health risk's most people associate with Isometrics.

I can definately see how this program would be very effective.Isometrics are greeat at building strength, burning fat,and makeing ones muscle hard. They are not the best way to build muscle unless you are already lacking in that area but you will definatelynot lose any muscle mass like you do with too much cardio.Considering that so many women worry about getting to muscular the use of isometrics is twice as nice since it is the slowest method one can use to gain muscle mass.

I watched the Basic Breath Tape and Workout One last night and I read the book. The only problem I have is with Abreys counting it is so Dancer like that I have some issues with it.I havenot figured out what she is doing on some of the counts as we are not supposed to hold our breath.

The only easy day was yesterday!
