I hope my fellow Oer's are not getting tired of all my posts!.

I was wondering if anyone who has skin conditions, ie rosacea, etc... has seen improvements in their condition?. I think I might have the early stages of it and wondering if "O" will help alleviate some of my symptoms?. I also wonder if "O" might antagonize it because of the increased blood flow to my skin?.

Any opinions will be really appreciated!.

Thanks Again!
Mickey

the only thing i have ever found that really helped my rosacea is MSM. i buy it from a multilevel marketing company called freelife, but my friends have had good results with MSM from the health food store. i take 4 grams per day for the last three years. and of course oxycize helps alot with making your skin look better.

I don't know about O'ing helping Rosacea (though it would make sense since it helps carry toxins out of our system), but I do know of an athority who feels that myriad skin conditions (including rosacea) is caused by an underlying fungal/yeast overgrowth in the body and is aggravated by sugars and simple carbs (breads, cookies, cake, cereal, etc). I think my daughter may be developing it (she keeps getting that characteristic rash across the middle of her face) and her grandmother has it. (And, "hereditarily" we're sugar freaks, but we've cut WAY down.) (How do you tell an 11 yr. old that all her sugar and goodies just flew out the window?)

A good probiotic may help you too in the long run--like a quality acidophilus complex (to help restore the terrain of your bowel: the place where much of our disease originates!)

Take Care, Katherine
