How well would the commutter program work to use while using the computer? I would like to get it and be able to pop it in while I am on here? I am usually on the computer just before bed though, would that cause me to have trouble getting to sleep?

It's just a cd that has her counting out the breaths, so I think it would be great to use while at the computer.

I like to do O before bed. It warms me up and gets my muscles stretched out. I find I sleep better when I do the program before bed. Others may find it wakes them up... but not me.

I just purchased the CD rom so I can use it in my car (no cassette player) and also in my computer. I remembered to bring some headphones to plug into my computer. Not quite ready for anyone to know I'm doing this until I start showing inch loss.
Anyway, I've devised this set of exercises to do at my desk that I can do along with the commuter program. I just change the exercises.
First set-follow along with the program

Second set-Do the following with the basic breath between each one:
~Knee press
~Inner thigh stretch
~Sitting stretch
~Rip the floor
~Double leg lift (feet pointed)
Third set:
~Double leg lift with feet flexed
~Pretzel twist left ("borrowed this from body flex-cross your right leg over your left, put your left hand on the outside of your knee and pull back while twisting to the right.
~pretzel twist right (do the opposite of the above)
~Trunk twist right(sit straight and twist at the waist to the right as far as you can.
~Trunk twist left (opposite of above)
This gives me a better all body workout and then I'll do the entire commuter program in the car.

Thanks for your input, very good idea. I haven't told anybody I am doing this either. I guess I will have to get the cd. I use the video now, and some times can be hard to do with no one knowing. My house is open concept and the tv is right in the middle of the house. Let me know how you are doing please. Joyce

DKD,

Thanks for sharing that! I like the idea of changing exercises on each segment. I get bored easily. I know Jill had to be careful on what exercises you do in the car, but this would be perfect to do at my desk at work. Then I could get in another workout!!! Great idea! Big Grin
