O.K...I diligently O!'d daily (and even the commuter routine when I could) and started to notice a "weird" feeling in my chest/lungs. Then it became a full on chest congestion/cough issue (but no other symptoms so I know it wasn't a cold). It has kept me from continuing O! for about a week now (every time I tried to breathe it sent me into a coughing jag).

Now the feeling is all but gone so I am going to start again but was wondering if anyone else had a respiratory issue when they first started Oxycising?

There have been some that have posted on this before. Some people who have smoked before have said they have gone through this. I'd say it's the oxygen doing a deep cleaning.

Maybe...I've never smoked so it can't be due to that. I am going to start back today and hope it doesn't happen again - it was bad!

Okay on occasion I get congestion from deep breathing. I don't smoke either. In my case it is because I am often inhaling say pollen or mold and mildew. I live in a humid climate where it breed like crazy. If you have carpet and are on the carpet, you could be breathing in any number of things that could be causing the problem. If you are outside walking or in your car you could be breathing in anything. If you have pets, could be pet dander. It could be an unknown allergen. Most people who have tested for allergies or have had allergies all their life - it isn't a new experience. But for someone who may have a minor allergen and not be aware of it, Oxycise may make it more apparent.

If you can - it's often best to try to do it in an area where you will be breathing in less stuff since you sound like you are sensitive to something in your environment.

I find at certain times of the year I can only Oxycise indoors and thankfully we have hardwood floors or I'd be in trouble there.

You might want to look at 8 Minutes in the Morning with Jorge Cruise (www.jorgecruise.com). Adding some strength training (weights) can really help with the increased oxygen.

I already weight train (full body) three days a week and do other cardio six days. I was adding Oxycize as an additional part of my fitness regimen. I am hoping it is just some kind of passing bronchial thing that "coincidentally" occured the same time I started Oxycising...time will tell, I am getting back on the "O! Wagon" tomorrow.

Speds,

I hope this was just a coincidental thing. I haven't ever had anything like this happen to me, so I don't feel like I can give you any insight. Good luck!
