My 15 yr old son is about 50 lbs overweight. I think Oxycise could help him alot. I have got him learning how to do the breaths. I don't have any of the tapes, so I can't judge. Do you think easy does it would be good for him? I fear the others would be too fast for him to start. Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks, Jennifer |

I believe Oxycise! would be a great program for your son, especially if he is willing to do the workouts consistently and faithfully.
The "Easy Does It" Introduction is great and the workouts move at a slower-pace (which IS good for beginners) but I think your son would soon lose interest and "outgrow" these workouts, since they are specifically aimed at our more "mature" customers. I think your son might be encouraged to DO Oxycise! more often if he has some "company" -- that is, being able to see young people about his own age doing the workouts. On Level 4, Jill's son Ryan (age 17 at that time) and daughter Maren (then age 13) are featured doing the workout along with Jill. And on the "Buns & Thighs" Level 2 workout, Jill's 15-yr-old daughter Aubrey joins her Mom. I think your son would be able to "graduate" up to these levels quite soon, once he is familiar with the basics of Oxycise! and I believe he would really enjoy them. We've received very positive feedback from several teenagers who have done Oxycise! so I feel it will work well for your son too. The key to success is consistent effort! Hi Jennifer!
Just wanted to post and say my early 20's son has had tremendous success with Oxycise, Combat Conditioning by Matt Furey, and lower carb eating. He's lost 90 lbs. in the last year - he's 6'5" tall and a guy, not to mention younger at almost age 25 - faster results than most of us gals. He was and is VERY, VERY consistent and will NOT go to bed without doing his workouts - even when it's late - looks fabulous, very slim, and very well built! I want to really encourage you to start your son on Oxycise - and he'll definitely be able to handle the tapes Julie suggested - he'll make fast progress! Best of luck to you and your son - please feel free to e-mail me and my son anytime! |

Hi, Linda,
I just saw your reply today. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm ordering tapes for him and looking into the Combat Conditioning. Isn't it funny how guys often do lose faster than us girls? Thanks again, Jennifer |
